I’m gonna try to reupholster all the seats in a boat I’m restoring some of the seats are so bad the frabic is all the gone I was wondering what I should do for the design on those seats?
I’m gonna be honest with you, I have no idea. I got this through my work who gets it strait from the manufacturer via wholesale. I’ve tried finding it to order myself but have had no luck as well. Maybe buy from a local marine upholstery shop?
@@TheUpholsteryStudio I have reached out to the manufacturer requesting some information as I am just starting upholstery work for boats in East TN. I will let you know what I find out.
@@charlottephillips1681 gotcha. Si leather is definitely the hardest to get your hands on for sure. Whenever I figure out how to get that brand specifically I will let you know. But one place I get a lot of stuff from is fabricwarehouse.com. I use their Seaquest marine vinyl a lot.
@@TheUpholsteryStudio thank you. I have a local place that I can get the seaquest colors. I would like to used above standard factory materials if possible. I just got my consew set up and have a juki on the way as well. I sewed growing up and in a furniture factory years ago. Most people doing boats near me have retired so there is a need for it here and figured it would be good to have additional income.
Great job !! thanks
Thank you!

@@garygerard4290 thank you very much for watching. Your support means a lot!
Great color picks, they go good with the boat.
How about replacing a Bimini top on a pontoon boat. I'm going to try that myself this winter.
I do know the zipper pockets can be tricky on biminis, but you got it!
You need to seal up the edge of the core in the hole you cut or water will get into core.
I actually didn’t think about that, thanks for the tip

@@jaimusjoyce6082 what type of boat is it?
@ I’m not 100 sure but I’m pretty positive it’s a late 90’s early 2000’s seadoo challenger 1800
@ I think it could look pretty sick to do double diamonds on the main pieces of each cushion
@@TheUpholsteryStudio alright Il try it out thanks a lot
