Creatine has been identified as an important metabolic regulator conserving bioenergy to power CD8 T cell antitumor reactivity in a tumor microenvironment; creatine supplementation has been shown to enhance antitumor T cell immunity in multiple preclinical mouse tumor models and, importantly, to synergize with other cancer immunotherapy modalities, such as the PD-1/PD-L1 blockade therapy, to improve antitumor efficacy.

Very interesting, if not potentially groundbreaking. I hope Professor Yang's investigations into this are continuing. (And I enjoyed her lovely accent - I tuned in, it was perfectly comprehensible, and I enjoyed the beautiful lilt).
The Hybrid-Engine model at the end sums up pretty well how the creatine is helpful. Nice lecture Dr. Yang.
I wondering about the correlation of creatine use with prostate cancer growth i have read about iin other studies.

@@jasoncruizer i don't think that's how i was referring to this substance. I read in a study there might be a correlation or cause involving creatine with prostate cancer and i am interested if anyone knows more about that or should be concerned with using it. As to your reference of creatine being a naturally produced substance in the body therefore why ever would it be suspect of causing problems, ... so is testosterone a naturally produced hormone yet there is a preponderance of science linking it's effect in older males of feeding prostate problems including cancer. So if i were to consider using supplemental testisterone for erectile problems or other health issues i would consider the possible feeding of prostate problems. So to with using creatine.
What about in breast cancer 😢🤦🏽♀️
I have the same concern. My mum is fighting it and I am a big fan of creatine (in fitness mostly). Initially I would like to know if it at least could help my mum with muscle loss
