The Paul Newman is perfect, absolutely love it! That Royal Oak is perfect, the 15202 in blue is my grail watch!

The Rolex Paul Newman is drool worthy , i know its over hyped but it is a gorgeous piece , Your videos get better and better , the photography , lighting , editing , music and content is excellent .

I love the ‘54 Submariner. Perfectly simple and anti-fussy. The Seadweller was a close second since it just screams “use me!”

Sea dweller for me, I loved those ever since I saw a Bamford Sea dweller advert in Octane magazine years ago.
There really is something special about the SD.

Vintage rolex watches are something I for sure will start collecting if my future budget allows it. As I'm 18 at the moment i will have to stay calm for a copule of years, enjoying what I already have (which is a 214270). Meanwhile I will admire these vintage beautys from a distance!

Great Video Adrian THIS is the kinda stuff I like to see!! Vintage is best...soo much character and history !! The PN is gorgeous the eary sub was awesome...the DRSD is cool, it had some heavy marks on the crystal...a true tool watch!! Keep it up Bro...

Haha. I did actually have an edit with “watches of the night”. But it made the video too long so I took it out. That case was so damn sharp though!

Adrian, if you were to somehow build a composite watch taking one feature or style from say 3-5 watches...hopefully without it becoming a Frankenstein monster......what would you choose?

I agree with everything you said about the Double Red Sea Dweller.
That sea dweller is so nice but for the life of me I can't turn away from that AP 15300st. That design in my opinion is just perfect. It's like an elegant tool watch that blurs the line of dress and everyday. The blue dial is averaging 19k usd on chrono24.
It's the double red Sub for me and the AP, also a dream to own one but the servicing cost is scary on one of those. What are your thoughts on the cyclops on the latest Sea Dweller? Do you think it ruins the watch?

Ohh just to have worn those beauties and dreamed... I can't narrow down to one. If I had the liquidity to splurge, I would take the double red SeaDweller first and the Daytona second. Unbeleiveable how immaculate the Daytona is!! Thanks Adrian.

Very nice video, Adrian. Turned to be a lot more interesting than the title suggested. That Seadweller is definitely my favorite. The PN is nice because of its 10 million dollar brother, other than it was immaculate it didn’t tick my boxes. Keep it up! Cheers from The Netherlands.
This Paul Newman is sensational. I even like this example and its story more than the "original" one. "Ahhh I forgot it"... what else this guy might have forgotten? A 1970s Ferrari...? Maybe some Patek... My fantasy is taking off...

Wow! That DRSD!!! I think the Seadweller 1665 and 16660 are the cooler and tougher cousins of the submariner. :-)

The Newman is by far the winner of the bunch. But for wearability and and wrist enjoyment the double red would be the purchase I would make. And like you the gold sub screams to my inner 80s child.

Great Video. If I had the money I would go for the Daytona and the double red Sub. But that wonderful Audemars Piguet, wow, that looks like a great modern interpretation of tool watch to me. If I were a multi-millionaire or maybe billionaire watch guy I'd buy these 3 watches in a heart beat. But I have to admit, I get a lot of satisfaction from many of the young watch guys selling $500-$1000 watches

Missed this one on holiday. Totally agree the Daytona is lovely and the dweller looks great, right up until you see the depth of it. Sorry mate the AP is horrible, just don't have any love for that. Happy for you though because that visit was like been a kid in a sweatshop wasn't it? Nice one Adrian.
the paul newman is just perfect... i own 116520 & soon 116500.. but dang, some day i would wish to get one of these bad boys... (dream)..
that daytona should be x-rated, its just something else. the sub, a bit too knackered for my tastes. patina is fine, but that looks like its been jumped on a few times.
Two additional things...I wish there was a Red Bar event here in Los Angeles. I checked and it appears to not be a thing here anymore. 2. I'd feel so out of place at this type of event knowing I dont know an Rolex, AP etc and knowing that I couldn't afford any of the watches

Gotta say, it's the AP. Vintage Rolex's have a cheapness about them (I think it's the bracelet)....and the fact that they weren't crazy expensive in the first place. One day, I will own a 15202 with a blue dial in steel!

That submariner could do with a new bezel. Missing lume pip must knock a bit off the price.
Loved the Sea dweller, missed out on a Comex one about 8 years ago for £3k!!, it didn't have a bracelet so head only. I thought i would never be able to source a correct bracelet so didn't buy it. About a year later i was offered a mid 70s Sea dweller bracelet correct date code for £900. Been kicking myself ever since!!. Never will i be offered a chance like that.
How much did the DRSD go for?

Every time i see an AP it makes me want a VC Overseas Ultra Thin. The AP is just too industrial looking for my taste.
