I am so excited Haven't been stitching very long but love it. Watching you two I have said many times I wish I lived near you and could be your friend. So when I heard you were doing this I thought my dream has come true.
Hi Liz and Deb. I have been watching you for a few years now and I love all of your choices for the designs you stitch. I haven’t cross stitched for about 26 years now. I am an avid quilter and have a longarm business since 1999. I had cataract surgery last year and realized that I might be able to do some cross stitch again. So I took out my bin of cross stitch supplies and so happy to get back to cross stitching. Thank you for your inspiration and knowledge.
You ladies do such beautiful projects and beautiful stitching! I am always happy when I see there’s a new video up on you tube I’m glad you are going on a fun cruise in 2026, it will be a blast
Deb, I stitched a sheep recently and used the colonial knots instead of the called for standard cross stitches. I love it and thank you so much for the inspiration!
Hi Deb and Liz love watching your finish and WIP's. You two are such an inspiration. I finished my Heidelberg castle Sept 10th and will be taking it to Michael's to have framed and matted. This is for my hubby because it is his favorite castle when we lived in Germany for 6 1/2 years. In the meantime Happy Stitching and be safe and kind. God bless Pat
Thank you both as always for your video. Congratulations on the cruise ,so well deserved. Liz your strawberry tree is going to be wonderful ,I hope we get to see it. Deb love your finish. I bet it looks so sweet in the nursery. I am having a stitching day here in the UK as it is pouring down 🙄, what's new this year. My subscriber tribute piece is making slow progress as I have a lot of work to do in my course which is embroidery based but amazing. See you both the next time.
Deb, your Creatures Great and Small are so 😮😮OH!! AWESOMENESS. Just love ❤watching you ladies. All your amazing designs. Carolann saying HELLO from Duluth, Minnesota 😊
Always fun watching both of you...june and july are sone and fall is on its way....so happy for your news...your will have a great time...please take care and be safe
Thanks so much for the visit and congrats on your upcoming BIG Cruise Event! That sounds exciting! Deb, your All Creatures, great and small is Fabulous!
I had a start/finish of a baby sampler for our first grandchild. It was a modern design and turned out great including the framing! I also finished/fully finished a special piece for child's spouse to commemorate the finishing of a PhD. I also finished several smalls but they need the FFO treatments. It was a productive summer, especially July.
June and July flew by so fast. Still hot and humid here in September in Oregon. Just finished a freebie from Teresa kogut. Create everyday. Love stitching and watching your video.
Hi ladies! The cruise sounds really nice! Beautiful finishes! July is a popular month in my family (hubby and my anniversary; one sister and her hubby's anniversary; three sisters and a great-niece celebrate their birthdays). Happy Stitching!
Beautiful finishes. The sampler will be a treasured keepsake. Appropriate for the nursery. I look forward to every video you girls do. Always loads of inspiration.
How exciting that you are off on the cruse in 2026, you must feel like a little kid waiting for Christmas, although you have a little longer to wait! It looks like you both had worked on some wonderful stitches over the summer and had some pretty finishes. My big finish for the summer was my Chatelaine, Butterfly Lace Mandala, which I was my birthday start on 9th September 2021 and I finished it on 30th August this year. Happy Stitching! Sue xx
I am going to look up that cruise! I have no LNS or stitch group so it would be fabulous for me. Maybe I could save up my pennies by then. So good to see you both, as always, hugs
When I saw your galvanized metal mason jar project, my first thought was finish the cross stitch on a mat board place a magnet on the back. Then you can change out cross stitch each month without having to buy multiple galvanized metal forms.
Lovely surprise to find your video this morning. Such fun. Love your finish Debs. Wow such exciting times ahead in 2026, that’s so lovely to look forward too. Happy stitching. ❤❤
I so enjoy your flosstube videos full of love and creativity. And THAT cruise for ‘26! My dream team of stitchers ❤ Unfortunately I live too far to join but I hope with all my heart there’ll be lots and lots of sharing your time on the boat as well as on land shopping.
What I finally started and have been stitching on this summer is a sampler chart in four parts that I bought in 2015 and has been on my mind to do ever since! I am doing it on 14 count Aida in yellow, changing all of the colors to soft pastels. I'm so very happy I finally got started, and I can't put it down!
Great to see you both again. Summer was too busy to finish anything. I am working on No Bird by Modern Folk Embroidery which I am enjoying. I am also an avid reader so wanted to make a wall of classics/library/learning samplers. The cruise sounds great 👍 Carol🇨🇦
Good to catch up with you two again. It was hot here too, but I was able to keep stitching when kniting and quilting were too hot to work on. In July, being Canadian, I worked on 2 Canadian samplers. One small one -- which I finished -- and a new one that I started -- Emeline Hotchkiss, Lacolle, 1846 from Cross Stitch Antiques. I grew up near Lacolle, Quebec, where this stitcher was from; it's a small town on the Canadian side of the border with NY State. I knew when I saw it I just had to work on it! In August I set it aside and worked on 'floral' WIPs that weren't samplers. I finished the borders on Jeannette Douglas' Vintage Bouquets (free monthly in 2022 and now available as a book) and was very pleased when they actually matched up! I also finished a little piece called "Buttercup Alphabet" from Cathy Jean of The Victoria Sampler. I'd bought the patterns and fancy floss pack on a VS retreat in 2008 and finally did it up! Third, in August, I finished the first page of "Wildflowers" from Kathy Barrick -- a simple, striking design but lots of filling in, which made it rather relaxing to work on.
Hey Ladies, I took a break from my channel, but now I'm back stitching as well and subscribed to keep me entertained and my interest up. Thanks for being so entertaining and fun to watch..Tanya Nrthn Calif
So exciting to hear about your cruise news! I would love it if Liz has a class on one of her peyote scissor blings that she has made … maybe one with a nautical theme?
June and July were hot! Our August was better. That is not our normal .😅I'm stitching on 4th of July Rules, the Needleworkers Sampler, all the Tiny Towns and the Monthly Samplers by country Cottage. Congratulations to you two! How amazing for you!!! I've only been on cruise and it was so much fun! You'll have a blast!
Ooooh! Cross Stitch Cupboard was my go-to store when I lived in Ft Lauderdale!! Many visits to that place over the years. They've been around a long time. The cruise sounds amazing! Always excited to see a new video from you ladies🎉
Enjoyed the video! Thankful you are back! The finishes are grand!!!! I have been stitching a stocking for my grandson. Holiday Workshop Heirloom by Kooler Classic Charts. Lots of color changes! Wearing me out….so I put it down every now and then and stitch something little. Then Get back to it!
I was soooooo excited when Jean announced the 2026 Floss Tube at Sea "line up" - I even asked for that Saturday off from work so that I can be "johnny on the spot" to register! I can't wait to meet you both as well as Carol. Liz, you'll love cruising, by 2026 it will be my 9th cruise and I've been on 4 with Jean to date and will also be going to Alaska in Sept 2025. So, so happy - I almost can't wait!
Hello Ladies: I miss seeing your lovely faces, I now it has been busy with grandchildren. So happy you have the emails figured out. Oh my gosh, Jean Farrish is amazing, what an honor for you both, Liz you will love cruising, it is amazing. I also watch Carol from Salt Box Stitcher, what fun you all will have, my husband was in the Navy he is not a fan of cruises. Junes Sailboat is so cute, Liz: I like the blue fabric, perfect, that is perfect for the Sailboat finish. Nice progress on your stitching ladies, love the thimble purse, Liz: I hope you show how you display all your strawberries; All Creatures And Small is so beautiful. Hope to see you soon again.
Hi Liz and Deb. So glad to see you back. Your stitching is lovely! So excited to hear about the cruise, I went on the Flosstube at Sea in January. I had a wonderful time. I am hoping to go on the cruise in 2026. As so as I heard ask my husband to go again, he said sure.😊 Looking forward to booking it and meeting you both and Carol the Saltbox stitcher and everyone who comes. Nothing is better than traveling with people who get us😂. Have a good week.😊🪡🛳️
So glad you’re back! I found your station this summer and have been watching your older shows, it’s been very interesting and I feel like we’ve grown up together!i love watching you while I’m stitching. Your cruise sounds amazing! Question, where do you get most of your fabrics? Liz, I ordered glasses like yours, and other things. Thanks for showing gadgets! I’m just trying to work on linen, I have a feeling I’m not going to like going back to Aida. Welcome back!
I found wooden jars at one of the craft stores. I plan on painting and using one day. They’re more for sitting on a shelf or table, smaller type jar projects.
Y'all will love the Cubbard! If your looking for older, obscure patterns its the place. My daughters and I have purchased the frames you mentioned! The are great! Especially if you like to stitch in your recliner.
That is exciting news for the cruise!! I would love a class on how to make those beaded fobs if we bring our own kits and you help get us going?? Fern ridge kits. Just an idea. Thanks, Jennifer
I started Summer Quakers, Something Blue and Feast of Friends this summer along with several smalls…Strawberry Faire, Spooky Cat, Poe tombstone and Seasons of Summer spring.
I didn't stitch anything this summer, JUST to darn hot, here is Lebanon, PA I just told my husband about the cruise and he smiled~~~~. AND then he said that is the same week we do go on a cruise. So maybe I can get him to go with you giys!!
Welcome back, I enjoy early fall when school starts, it seems like everyone gets back into a routine. I like Liz’s mason jar (FQS) June sailboat on the blue fabric. The July design is also cute. I finished Voice so Sweet designed by Teresa Kogut. I am attending my first ever Cross stitch retreat next week and Teresa is the featured designer.
Lovely to see you ladies again! I had a special start on my birthday in August for a dear cousin who passed away in January. It was something she fell in love with last summer from the August Just Cross Stitch magazine called Mother Nature Autumn. Wonderful autumn colours! I didn’t get time to stitch it for her before she passed so I’m enjoying stitching it now and remembering her with every stitch. And your cruise sounds wonderful!!
Yay, you’re back! Since I have no cross stitch friends (how sad is that) and I live three hours from a cross stitch store I’m hoping you ladies can help me. I stitched Crowns & Shields by Blackbird Designs on 18 count Aida. The crowns and shields are all finished and I was getting ready to put initials inside the shields when I realized the initials are to be over one thread. Is it possible to do one over one on Aida? If so, would you be able to explain or show how to do that? I would appreciate any help you could give me.
I also started stitching the Jeanette Douglas By The Sea and am stumped by stitching the waves. I can’t seem to get it done. I’d like to see how you do when you get to the waves.
Hello im a super fun of your beautiful projects! Thank you for sharing! I wonder if you help me with the number of your naturalight magnifying the one you have with the excellent clip to attach any kind of size, the big size, thank you in advance!
I am so excited

Hi Liz & Deb ,are those hoops you mentioned German hoops from sulky yarns ? I thought you said they were hardware hoops .😘
They are called Hardwick hoops.
We bought them from Salty Yarns.
Just checked and realized I was no longer getting your notifications!🤷♀️😢Hopefully I am set! ❤

Love the Scottish sampler, but I’m not familiar with a designer called GPA. Is that short for something?
I forgot to tell you what I am working on! It is Watergarden Mandala by Chatelaine Designs. I have a LOT to do! I am maybe 20% into it. 😂
July
