At any age, Angelina is amazing and there is so much more to come. Her age six thru now videos, thanks to her family, are a special treasure that we are most fortunate to have, especially for those of us who enjoy being reminded of why we fell in love with her in the first place. Your weekly videos are always looked forward to and very much appreciated.
She repeatedly proves that her foundation being 'rooted' in jazz comes forth by her improvisational ability, for that is the mark of a real jazz singer.
There is the technically perfect young Angelina with perfect vocals. And then, there is the Angelina perfection of a song, where she exposes the hidden emotions in a song, as a more mature songstress.
I agree whole heartily to appreciate listening to such beautiful music from such an amazing young lady. I do hope in time the world will have the opportunity as I have and all others who have so far followed such an incredible talent as she is. Angelina is meant to be the star. 🌟 🙏💖
I absolutely love the way she sings Unchained Melody! She's incredible ! Bobby Hatfield will always have a place in my heart, but I really love Angelina's rendition! I love her voice so much!

Alan, this was a wonderful montage. I see fans often comparing AJ to a goddess or worrying if she will be corrupted by Hollywood. Your videos show us that neither extreme is likely. Instead we have been privy to a wonderful human being with tremendous talent who has been raised wisely with a empathetic soul and a tremendous work ethic. We have been witness to her experimentation with vocal timbres and numerous genres of music. At each stage her warm soul has touched our hearts and increased our awareness of the human condition like few other singers. Will she become a worldwide celebrity? I don't know. I'm delighted that she seems as happy as ever entering her magical world of lyric and song and that we, if we choose, get to go there with her. I only hope that I, in my remaining years, put the energy into growing as a person that she displays in the snippets that she shares with us
Her growth since she first held a mike at 18mo is evident and clear. Only the " obtunded" minds haven't got that. Our job is to open their minds and You're doing a great job. She's the greatest that ever was. It's our duty, as Angels, to help her show it to the whole " universe".👏👏👍👍❤

Alan this is a wonderful look at her singing the over the years. There is no question that she has grown vocally and in maturity over the years. I could not really say I like one performance over another. One of the things, for me, that makes her so special is that she can change up the way she sings a song at will and yet each performance is wonderful and stands on its own. I can imagine a works where she could have multiple versions of the same sing on the charts ant the same time. That would be the special world, to which Angelina teleports to when closing her eyes while singing and takes us with her. Thank you for this interesting look through the years.

The difference from 6 years of singing well 👌 to 16 years of singing the same song is phenomenal!!! Hard to believe if you don't listen to it side by side! She sings like a goddess👸 out of this world!!! Angelina gets better, and better and better as she gets older and more mature!!! Is there another professional singer/performer in history where the general public has such a well-documented record of their progression through the years? I doubt it. She and her family had a lot of foresight to record and save all those earlier performances at her home.
In general I tend to prefer her earlier performances and also her appearance. Among the songs that you reviewed here, I may except "Unchained Melody" and the most recent performance of "One Moment In Time".
I agree because I feel in her earlier songs she did not cut short her words with more profound vowels. I find her new stuff absolutely beautiful don’t get me wrong . But I am not of fan of the choppy mostly nasel sound. Time will tell ( what her record label pushes her to do ) as she was and still is the best in the world .I also believe they want her to resonate with a much younger audience even adding a bit of rap which I will never care for .
When Adele came out with her first album called " 19" her label "XL" put the album out in Vinyl LP form, Fast forward to today and everyone is wondering if Republic Records will risk putting out "OLD ENOUGH" in vinyl as Angelina is not very well known, which is actually their fault for not promoting her. Adele's latest album was made available in 500 K vinyl LP. Perhaps Republic Records will start with 50 K to test the waters?

I only noticed 2 ages that I believe were incorrect, she was 12 in I'm Not the Only One, not 10 (Ivan was on guitar) and she was 11 in Somethings Got A Hold On Me, not 10. I really enjoyed watching this, thanks & keep up the good work.
A very interesting video Alan! To see the differences of how she sang the same songs when she was younger to being older was a nice idea. You definitely can hear the differences, but it is also interesting to see the artistic choices she chooses to interpret each song. I guess as she matures, she has more control and ability in her voice which allows her to have more options to interpret a song. Watching her growth has been an incredible journey for we Angels!
I love how you come up with these ideas, Alan, of how best to show the growth and diversity of Angelina's talent. This was another great concept and series of examples for us to see, listen to and appreciate her evolving vocal skills. You really surprised us with that last song. You obviously dug deep to find that early example of 'One Moment in Time', one I was not aware of, so that when we hear her sing it at Heidi's fashion show, we're really blown away. You put a lot of thought, research, and production value into every presentation and each one gets better than the previous one. It would be sweet if Mery, Sara, and Angelina saw them. I’d have to say that , slower version in Portsmouth was one of her best performances , and that’s with the crummy recording. I can only imagine how amazing that must’ve been in person, live. Goosebumps!
It was in Napa at a private event. I was so fortunate to experience her Portsmouth performance, and it was stunning - time didn't just move slowly, it stopped. And the Napa version, as is Angelina's way, differed in a few places than the one she had done only a few weeks before in Portsmouth, and may have exceeded it in my eyes!

The Portsmouth is like a show stopper, completely on a different plane than any vocal artist I’ve ever heard , and that’s an opinion from not being there in person. It takes you for a slow ride through the song and her vocal ability to convey emotion. A star is being born. I’ve said it before, if this young lady doesn’t becomes the most famous female artist of our time, somebody didn’t do their job.
I'm not certain how valid your comparisons are. Most of the more recent ones are TikTok/Instagram versions while the older versions are performances. Doesn't seem like a fair comparison. At any rate, her "Unchained Melody" on Lindmo is, by far, my favorite. The "Something's Got a Hold On Me" at Allsang På Grensen with the choir was my favorite for that one and is always in my top 5 for all of her songs.

I really enjoyed watching this but I think you may want to do it again when she's around 25 or 30 because then I think the next 3 or 4 years might fit better in with the younger stages of her career and I hope she'll continue to enjoy being the young person that she still is I would like to see her people do something like setting up dance contests in the area where she's going to do a concert for young people around the world with the winners in each area possibly coming on stage with her and dancing to a couple of her songs. She can get to the more serious stuff later. Celebrate being young and free it doesn't last.

These comparisons convince me even more that the less accompaniment she has, the more her talent and voice quality are showcased.
