5 seconds to explain that this is a cb antenna spring would of saved me a few hours on google. Amazon link to one that angled like yours (still can’t find that) might of made you a few shekels. Best video you made so far.

The wooden training buddy needs a smiley… for whenever it hits you back!

Good Video Paul. I thought of some upgrades you could add to your wooden enemy! You could drill holes vertically in the 4x4 post allowing you to move your wooden arm up and down to fit any size person. You could also add multiple arms for more complex training. This would also allow you to position multiple arms directly facing ahead or to the sides to simulate other training scenarios... You could also add a pool noodle to the kali stick so it won't wack you so hard while you're developing your skills. Cheers!

Awesome video! Good idea for solo training equipment. Especially enjoy how u incorporated ur solo training wit "one arm bandit" n explained how the strategies n techniques could be applied.
Many of us don't have readily training partners. This is a good martial art apparatus. Kudos for ur creative idea.
    Anticipating ur next vid.

You can just put a leather work glove on the spring. An even better visual.
I’d name him El Lenoso !

    1. Make sure you treat the ground for termites, especially if the stick fighting stand is going to be directly on the ground. 2. Maybe slip an old thick glove over the car antenna spring to protect the stick. 3. Tape a picture of someone's face on the post (politician, news reporter, etc.)

Love the training arm I've done something similar and it's great, the possibilities are endless, just like kali, infinity, thank you Guru Paul.

I've been rolling paint on walls for years. Using 18 inch rollers, 2' to 16' poles. Standing on top of a 40' ladder rolling with a 16 ft pole at times. You don't want me to hit you with one of these sticks. I'm about to buy some for self defense. Good video

Great training tool. Awesome for moving from Largo to Corto. Maybe i'll try and build something similar. Definitely want to focus more on visual acuity. Thx for inspiration once again 🙏

Where do you purchase the spring device that is "holding" your attackers stick?

Hi Paul, i got a custom made one of these with two arms that can detach to one. It also holds my knives as well as sticks. Could you please do a drill a day series on “Handy Andy”! Would be awesome to learn snake and vine disarms with these apparatus as well as Espada Y Daga.

Throw in some actuators, prosthetic arms, and a chip to randomize timing and sequences, and youve got yourself a sweet training dummy bot. But whatever you do, ffs dont forget a voice activated dead man switch...
