First 60s got me 💀. Feels like there's a whole world in bronze out there that I'm not aware of.
My dps in diamonds behave exactly like this. Get rolled, never swap, never reposition, never change tactics or approach. 19 deaths, 2 elims, 3000 damage, tank diff (of course). 😊
My tank in diamond is always saying dps diff.
Overwatch is designed as a triangle, you can see triangles appear everywhere in its visuals like it's logos, on characters, Rock>Paper>Scissors...
I don't know if the devs intended for that same type of triangle to appear in the flame blame game 😂

I had a two week period early in my Overwatch “career” when I dropped from silver into bronze (old Overwatch 1 sr system, post echo release) and those were easily the most ridiculous games I’ve ever played to this day lol

I feel like the biggest difference between and low rank and higher rank dps is respecting the enemy. Once you learn to take turns instead of trying to force plays it feels like everything starts to fall into place.
For support players. Playing as a healer will get you no-where, play like you are momma bear protecting her cubs. I play brig and kiri a lot and my best games are where I am playing like I couldn't be bothered to heal. Who needs healing if the enemy team is sent back to spawn 😂
Finally tank, its tricky since you have the biggest control of the flow. Counter swapping is basically unavoidable as seen even in pro play. Not that you can't get to a high rank playing one tank. You just can't play tank on autopilot like dps and support. You are the lead role and most people aren't able to take that responsibility and adapt. People can and will do everything they can to make your game more difficult and its not your teams job to dump all their resources just into keeping you alive for 5 seconds.

For me, I can’t wrap my head around how some people can be so bad at something after doing it for so long. U have hours on a game yet u still play like u have 2 left feet

Bronze is such a confusing rank to play. I was in bronze when i started playing in 2022, and I'd occasionally stop to try and understand why my teammates were so spread out. I knew that's not how the game was supposed to be played and whenever I'd suggest a strategy to win, I usually get these types of responses by my teammates: "it's just bronze bro". A lot of these players are not trying...
Do you have the full review available as well? As a bronze/silver solo pharah I could use the tips myself lol...

my tank and dps are in gold but for some reason i cant get my support out of bronze 😭 i cant win more than 2 matches consecutively
All of my bronze games just have a WHOLE bunch of tryhards, and lots of falling to our deaths

Bronze and Silver are deceptively hard to climb out of bc of the sort of things we saw here. Carrying is one thing, but what do you even do when your team is like this 😂
Enemy team even more likely to have idiots, since you are the controlling factor.
If you want to get out of bronze, don't feed. Stay alive and keep up pressure. Don't play like the epic suicidal carry. Because odds are, you aren't good enough to do that.
its not deceptively hard, you just have to not commit to stupidity and chaos just because everyone else is committing to stupidity and chaos.
If this player was focused on their job and knew their limits + opportunities, they could have server admin'd this match so damn hard even without improving their mechanics at all. It's only "deceptively hard" to people who deceive themselves by thinking they don't belong at or near bronze to begin with.
if you can't win games like this at a positive winrate then you are simply ass at the game
It's extremely easy to win these games. I'm diamond-masters and once I smurfed by accident (I played open queue ranked and didn't have a rank there lol). It was silly, I just kept killing the whole enemy team since they didn't have the awareness or reaction times to fight back accordingly. If you're good enough, you'll destroy any bronze lobby you're in.
Lower ranks blame their teammates. Higher ranks self analyze and improve. If you are in bronze, you are the dumb teammate. Hope that helps.
