5:30 I love how he flipped that question. He gave her a freebie -- she could asked him anything, and she did not know what to do with that! 🤣🤣 I would've asked, "what character was your most favorite and why?"😁
So is she trying to play with him a flirtatious way? If not, then she is definitely trying to get a rise out of him. Whatever her agenda is, he doesn't seem to like it much. Some of the questions definitely are ridiculous. And I know The Mosquito Coast was a sensitive topic for him in that it failed at the box office. He really believed in it and still considers it one of his best movies and favorite roles.
Yes he had said many times he felt that was his best performance ( he was excellent in it ) her questions are very rude. Saying every character he plays is a hero/ the same. I'd say Han solo & Indiana Jones alone are very different. Han solo b/c it's a trilogy does change from a selfish man that is into illegal activities to becoming a general against the empire & cares about the characters her meets of course luke & Leia. Indiana Jones is he a hero? He's a very flawed character. Blade runner he's not anything like the other 2 characters. Witness he's a good cop. Mosquito coast is actually a really good movie. Not sure why it failed. I'd think Ford & the late river Phoenix alone would be a draw & it's cool to see a man that's a genius & he makes great points about America rotting but he sacrifices his families happiness & almost gets them killed a few times to build some utopia in the middle of some jungle in so. America. He's also hypocritical b/c he does use modern things that he protests to build his utopian society. A chainsaw batteries gas tanks for air conditioning to make ice to run the lights & fans. Esp the part w/ the batteries which his son gives him to start their boat in a storm. Geez he's horrible to his younger son who can't take living like that anymore. His father just mocks him telling him to be a man. The kid is like 11 & wants to watch some TV & & have a soda. Anyway ford was great. I'd say his most villainous role of Norman in what lies beneath is great. He's actually scary how sociopathic he reveals himselfwto be. Anyway Meredith was pretty really rude & he's very good at telling her that while being gracious. If that was rdj or tarrantino they'd have walked out.
Mosquito Coast is by far his best performance in that his character Allie Fox is a total eccentric who has a lot of insightful things to say. Too bad he's also a madman. That's why the movie failed at the box office.
He's staring holes through her. That stare could cut steel.

Harrison Ford being 45 there is crazy
Wow, Meredith Viera asked some downright BRUTAL questions of him. No wonder he's developed a rep for not liking media.
She didn't really ask tough questions, but rather just said stupid things.
Always a great interview thanks.
