I think this performance right here is his greatest performance to this day! He acted his ass off in this and recieved his well deserving Academy Award Nomination.
I can’t help but comment about the journalist talking about Blade Runner. It’s still amazing to me when I hear journalist say it’s Film was not successful based on his box office draw. Like Harrison said it was successful and it’s on right and look at it now 40 to 45 years later still a cult classic and loved by millions and millions of people and has a very successful sequel
Clearly her take hasn't aged well but the movie was considered a bit of a disappointment at the time. Mediocre box office and I believe mediocre reviews. It's one of those movies that only over time came to be seen as a classic.
In the last shot, he did a "Honey, that's great coffee" shot, as in Witness, but also I think he did a commercial once before Witness, now again at the end lol Like a go-to cover move lol He has his own style for sure!
I can see why Harrison Ford dreads interviews. Bobbi smiling while she says "Blade Runner was crap" and "Are you afraid of being typecast?". Meanwhile, Blade Runner was a seminole science fiction movie that literally all sci-fi movies continue to borrow from.
@@zerpblerd5966 Rutger Hauer was great! "All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain." Time to die..... great scene that was / is. Vangelis soundtrack!!! Ridley Scott direction! are you effin' crazy?
@@UnitedSoundVideo maybe you don't know but Ridley Scott had nothing to do with Rutger Hauer's greatness in that scene - it was improv, all Rutger Ridley just has an eye - he's a great cinematographer/DP
She's usually a good interviewer but yikes why bring up a box office failure in your first few minutes of the interview? Interesting that Blade Runner went on to become a cult classic. Dirty Harry? She did such a thoughtful interview with Kelly McGillis on this same movie and a rather shallow, bordering-on-insulting one here. She's not even asking about Witness. No wonder he hated interviews.
It's so funny she mentions Bladerunner as a "career misstep" for him but it ends up being one of the most renowned and influential sci fi films of all time...
Witness is one of my favorite Harrison Ford movies!
watched it soooooo many times as a kid! I grew up around Amish and Menonites in central PA
I've watched it 200 times I think. I would watch it at least twice a week when I was a kid.
I think this performance right here is his greatest performance to this day! He acted his ass off in this and recieved his well deserving Academy Award Nomination.
Same with Mosquito Coast and The Fugitive
@@DMallthewayI loved both of those movies. Wish Harrison won for his performance in Witness
Damn his voice is soo deep
Great respect for Harrison Ford. A man who loves his job and is good at it. Nothing wrong with that.
His deep ass voice....omg
@Forever Nate no lol
@Forever Nate hahaha no not lies
Sexy as hell
I have loved Harrison for over 30 years. The man has given us so many amazing characters and performances over his long and brilliant career. ❤
Beloved Harrison Ford.
Love him always will
Me also
Bladerunner might not have been an immediate hit, but its become a classic and eternally long term hit.
Gorgeous

ford wants to promote the film because he loves the film. that is how it should be. showing passion for the project you are working on.
Giovane ,bello , carisma, cosa volere di piu'.

Bladerunner was a masterpiece. ❤
After this interview he did another two more Indiana Jones, another Blade Runner and two more Stars Wars.
No he only made 3 Star Wars movies because there are only 3 Star Wars movies.
He’ll be doin an Indiana jones 5
Harrison Ford es el hombre más bello del mundo lo dice tu piloto espacial preferida te amo.Sahiris.
Blade Runner is my favourite movie of Harrison Ford! ❤
funny to see how Blade Runner became iconic and one of the best movie ever
I still watch it.
The fact that there is a Bladerunner sequel affirms the success of the original.
Yeah, I suppose you could make that argument...but The Human Centipede had a sequel, too. Does that mean the first one was a good film...a "success?"
I love this
Great movie
Harrison 'get me the hell outta here' Ford...
He’s actually quite personable here.

did you miss the part where she corrected herself? she actually praised the film heavily when she interviewed Ford in 1982
Loved BLADERUNNER!! What are they talking about.
it's atrocious
Blade Runner was a great movie. She's a dingbat.

@@zerpblerd5966 you used the word atrocious! to describe this film that's why I posted
Wish he had actually started making that Indiana Jones movie in January 1986.
The Blade Runner is the epitome of classic cult following success. Stands alone.
We did not get this Indy. Yes Harrison will be back in Star Wars 20 years after this. I guess she didn’t like Witness

"Nice meeting you". Awkward as they had met more than once before and we have RUclips to prove it.
Ha-ri-son Fo------d!

Se si vedesse l'attore sarebbe meglio.
Harrison very coool man
I sensed he was annoyed in this interview
That's his default setting.
omg this woman is so cringe. "I'm thinking of Blade Runner." Wow. Does she have any clue when she's insulting someone? Good lord lol
I kinda like how raw they were then hahaha, her opinion is her opinion. He took it well.
@@Stopthecäq yeah, BladeRunner is not her demographic. I wonder 💭 what movies he doesn’t like
Slow talking pot head like Johnny Depp
No, no like Dipp. He’s just reserved and meaningfull and thoughtful. I don’t like BladeRunner, I like Working Girl.
