I thank you for your bravery to come on here and speak so openly about this topic, and mentally to be going through this with two young children must be so hard 😩

Teeth problems suck. I got the bad news too, but I refuse to accept that I'm going to lose teeth eventually. I'll do whatever I can to not let that happen.

@@realmajorx3698 By it cannot be cured they mean it cannot be reversed, but it can be stopped. So it can be cured in a way that it will not progress ever.

I’ve spent 45k saving and fixing my teeth. I’ve got 6 or 7 crowns, and 2 implants. I go to get cleanings every 3 months, brush and floss twice a day, use a waterpik, and just started using perio trays.

I started getting some recession and black triangles forming and bleeding when I waterflossed. Freaked me out so bad I floss mouthwash and water floss on top of brush and use interdental brushes twice a day now and it’s been healing up. Never neglecting my oral hygiene again.

Thank you for this video. I was diagnosed at 20. There’s a few other women in my family who dealt with teeth problem too. My aunt lost a few teeth from PD. My biggest fear is losing my teeth. I’m only 23. :// Luckily, my dentist told me that I can prevent that from happening as long as I maintain my oral health. I’ve been so vigilant since my diagnosis, haven’t had an active infection since.

It’s so odd how many of us who have had braces now have gum disease. There must be a link 🤔
