I get so hyped watching these highlights!! He was the reason why I played wide receiver in high school and why I was benching 285lbs as a 17 year old and lifting as much as I could, doing sprints, running hills and route running back in the day. Every play I made, catch, or touchdown was a credit to TO, forever the greatest WR.
Man people forget how good he was on the Niners. Had Steve Young not had to retire, T.O. might’ve never left... thinking about those two together into the 2000’s.... damn!
I haven't seen a receiver in a long time, that whenever he got the ball, he was a legitimate threat to get that touchdown. As a 49er fan I may be a little biased, but I believe TO deserves to be in the HOF. His numbers speak for themselves. That, and although he started his career with Steve Young giving him the ball, he went a majority of his career without a HOF quarterback and still had great numbers. Hopefully, he'll get what he deserves with the recognition. Sucks he never got a Super Bowl.
T.O. was the reason I started making these highlights again because they didn't put him in the HOF!!!!!!.................that's why I tried to make the ultimate T.O. VIDEO!!!!!NINER GANG 4 LIFE!!!!
Just so strong... I'm watching the end of this. Man.... just so strong. I use to think Michael Irvin was the strong wideout. But when you watch this. Owens stiffed armed so many "little" corner backs
jeebs9 Micheal Irvine was physical he was not strong. ...T.O. is physically physically gifted receiver ever saw, big ,strong, & fast,& he can jump high....if has the same work ethic J Rice had and he didn't have all those distractions off the field he probably would have been the best receiver ever
@@GrandMan-lw4dv TO's work ethic was never in question, just his commitment to the team over his self. Even Rice said that when he watched TO work, it reminded him of his younger self. Unbelievable size, strength, and speed. The things that always stood out for me was his concentration and hands to make contested catches knowing someone was coming to blow him up, because of all his talk. After that, then the balance to keep his feet and make them pay for trying to blow him up instead of wrapping up. Still one of my favorite players just wish he would have learned humbleness and appreciation along the way. They better take another look!
cheesybread 613 Jimmy Smith was mine too. 116 catches in 1999 which led the entire league. He was 200 yards shy of having 10 straight 1,000 yard seasons. At 36 years old he still had a 1,000 yards. And from 1996 to 1999, nobody caught more passes than Smith. Beast
The most dominant offensive weapon I’ve ever seen in the league. Definitely in my top 5 all-time Wr. Doesn’t really get the credit he deserves due to the fear he put in opposition and even his own team whenever struggling to match his expectations. During his prime years a nightmare matchup for any corner in the league. It didn’t matter how good they were, he would simply outmuscle, outrun and out perform anyone in front of him. Former D.C. safety Sean Taylor r.i.p. is the only DB I’ve witnessed capable of posing any kind of threat to a prime T.O.
Yes I heard of all of them and watched all of them play. And I can say without a doubt, you have NO idea what you are talking about. Jerry Rice by far was the greatest RAC receiver to ever play the game. And Owens is probably the second best. You must be a teenager or someone in their 20's.
Ricearoni80 Dez Bryant????? Are you on crack. Also you named those other receivers but you forgot about the number one YAC receiver who is better than all of those receivers combined. You better look up John Taylor. You must be young.
+Tee Harris Jerry was a far superior route runner and it's the reason he lasted so freaking long. Everyone thinks receivers need to be like TO but Jerry had zero wasted movement
Two best receivers of all time played in SF think it's about time we make it a third. I think with our WR coach anyone of our receivers will break out. Donte Pettis is who I'm leaning towards too bad garçon is so seasoned.
I just can't respect a guy that doesn't show it back. You've gotta give respect before you receive it. It's not a hard thing to deal with. Call it kissing ass but he learned it's not something people want to be around.
Fuck all of the other bullshit this dude should be in the Hall of Fame no questions asked. And these are just highlights from one team. What about when he play with the Cowboys and the Eagles. Factor those in and he's probably the best receiver ever. I love Jerry Rice and no disrespect to Randy Moss but hey ljs
Hands down the the 2nd greatest receiver of all time. Sure he might not have had Moss's speed and athleticism or Harrison's hands and instincts but TO was overall way better than them because he's the most perfectly balanced talented receiver. Speed, quickness, hands, awareness, strong, run block, tough, great stiff arm, and breaks multiple tackles a true defensive nightmare. Breaks my heart that he never got his Super Bowl ring and isn't in the Hall Of Fame yet for bull shit reasons. By the way who ever in the 49ers staff that decided to release Terrell Owens and Jeff Garcia after the 2003 season was the most worst off season move ever made and for that to this very day we never had a true west coast offense again.
1. Owens was faster than Moss. 2. They didn't release Owens. Owens filed for free agency, his agent missed the deadline, and he requested and was granted a trade. 3. West Coast Offense? Huh? The WCO has been extinct since Marc Trestman was fired.
I can't believe you said TO was faster then moss. Then you say he was way better than moss too? Are you high? Most players, coaches, writers and commentators had moss the better wr. Moss literally changed the game. He was the number 1 target on two of the highest scoring offenses in nfl history. On both those offenses he lead his teams in TDs. Moss played 20+ qbs throughout his career and still put up great numbers. I think you need to go watch moss highlights and see for yourself which one was better.
Again, idiot: Owens was faster than Moss. He beat Joey Galloway's 100 yard dash record at the 2001 Superstars competition. Moss would not have. Owens beat a former Florida State track star - Michael Jennings (google him) - in a 40 yard race. Jennings was faster than Moss. Jennings ran faster in the 200 meters than Moss ever did, as both ran the 200 in college. Moss got caught from behind in the open field by Terence Newman (look it up on RUclips, it's there). Owens was never caught from behind in his career. Owens only played in 1 more game than Moss, yet he had over 600 more yards. And this despite the fact that while Moss was a starter from day 1, Owens didn't play nearly as much his rookie year (he was a 3rd round pick), and was much more raw coming into the league. Of course, Moss always gets his fanboys making excuses for him to try to make him the GOAT, pretending it was a matter of him not trying hard enough or whatever else. Moss never reached Rice's level because he wasn't as good. Same goes for Owens. And Owens edges out Moss.

That was the Thanks they got.

One of the best receivers of all time, when T.O retired he was 2nd to Jerry Rice in every receiving category.
Never knew he was this good. Jeez...
I love him so much!!! I could watch him 24/7!!!!
