@@DreamGuitars Of all the great guitar players, Clive, perhaps like a pro race car driver (who can within minutes find and maintain the limits of a racecar they have never driven) seems able to pick up a guitar he has never played and straight away milk every sweet note and tone it has to offer.
Fantastic, in all relations: wonderful arrangement; at the same time power- and soulful interpretation, great tone, great guitar, brought to bear, as best as possible!
Well, its sort of Pat Methany's arrangement but its been expanded considerably a la Clive Carroll and is much improved over an already fine arrangement. I wish I could buy the tabs for it because otherwise I can see that I will be spending long hours on the slow speed version picking it up. Clive Carroll is a beautiful genius. The Beatles, jeez the Beatles, the best thing that happened to music in my lifetime, the songs they wrote, so simple and yet so incredibly good. As long as there will be a human race these songs will be remembered. As Leonard Bernstein said, the Beatles were the Schubert of our age.
Hey, have you seen this vid of Clive breaking down the main parts. Get those down and by watching Pat M and Clive's version, I created my own version which is a bit of both and some of me. ruclips.net/video/q9UPXRNKa6E/видео.html&start_radio=1&rv=RabmHGgW5IQ
I'm not positive, but I believe this Circa guitar is Brazilian Rosewood/Adirondack Spruce. Clive's playing is incredibly nuanced. Just amazing. Thanks for watching!
@@DreamGuitars Thanks for getting back. Yeah, I was thinking Adirondack too but with Indian RW. I’ve seen Clive play in Calstock (UK) - such an amazing guitarist- he also came across as a really nice guy too. As with others , I felt this guitar needed to ‘open up’ a bit - but it’s going to be a gem. Well done Circa guitars 👍
Tone is truly in the fingers. Clive’s right hand versatility is phenomenal!
Lovely Clive!!! Hi to Paul, Roland, Al and everyone stopping by here. AR
Lovely version❤
I could listen to and watch Clive play all day!
Fantastic
Excellent. I saw him play this live last Sunday and it was truly sublime using the Renbourn OM.
He’s playing my Circa OM in this video. It was only a week old at that point.
Very cool!

Ein gutes Instrument! Ich habe Martin 0028EC, mit sehr ähnlichem Klang)
Saw Clive again last Wed at the Chequers folk club in Gt Kingshill, just amazing. He finished with this and we all went home with an ear worm 😂
He is the greatest and most expressive musician

Wonderful
Sounds like a Circa (John Slobod) guitar to me.... wonderfully played...and it's a guitar that I've stayed in touch with....
Astonishing tone!
Beautiful arrangement
Holy crap I love this guy.
So very great!
Omg, bravo!!!
Love it !!!!
Amazing 👏

This flows much better than the Metheny arraignment.
