    Great tutorial as always, thank you! I am still in the hobby/gift making stage. I love these little notebook holders, have made several for gifts. But, I love how Tiffany has added the square on the back for the strap... WAY better than putting it in the seams of the top and bottom. Tiffany at Crashing Waves is an awesome designer and I have a ton of her designs. I bought these designs and can't wait to make them. I use a Brother single needle (PE 770), largest hoop is a 5x7.

    I love that you make videos of things that other people have made videos of. It makes me appreciate yours so much more. Not that there is anything wrong with the videos others make but for me you shot angels, editing and descriptions are so easy and clear to follow that sometimes I don’t even read directions for the pattern. I hope to invest in a less expensive embroidery machine soon. Looking at the Jade 35

    I love this pattern! However, I was disappointed about how much vinyl got covered up and it seemed like such a waste of beautiful vinyl. So...I use the inexpensive clear vinly in mine! I did 3 yesterday and they work perfectly!! Just a tip if you want to preserve your special vinyl!

    Designs by JuJu has multiple ITH patterns for this size. I've made over a dozen of them and they stitch up very quickly and use far less materials than this one. The ones I've made are the monogram ones. I don't stitch out the swirl under the letter, so the actual stitching time is barely 11 minutes for me. I've made them on my Solaris, and they turn out beautiful. I can't imagine selling them for more than $10, so the vinyl would make them way too expensive.

    I have bought so many crashing waves designs because of your tutorials. I just got my nq1600e a couple of months ago. And haven’t been able to find what I want to make with it. Until your hand sanitizer holders videos. I have made so many. And sold several at our first ever craft fair last week. I really want to make more marine vinyl and faux leather projects. And real leather projects too. For a upscale feel.
    You said if I wanted to skip the fabric, to just use the vinyl instead? Would it hold up?
    Can you do more of these ITH projects? You are literally the only one I understand when making these items. You are very clear in your instructions.
    I also emailed crashing waves. Asking for a dog poo bag holder design. I haven’t heard a response yet. But I would love to make some that are not the weird butt bag dispenser area. Lol.

    If I am embroidery something on my machine and the vinyl on the bottom is sticky, I put a piece of tear away stabilizer over it and tape it down. That way it doesn’t snag the metal plate on my single needle!

    Would it be possible to try making these on a 4x4 embroidery machine,Would I have to use a repositional hoop? I want to try making some for my daughter’s class and maybe selling if I did them good enough. I had already purchased the snap tab version and was clueless but your video gave me courage to try 😊

    Do you carry a basic mini composition notebook cover sewing pattern. I don't have an embroidery machine.

  • @karenboyd6293
    @karenboyd6293 3 года назад

    One question is could you have done some other things while the machine was stitching? For example, if you had too hoops could you be trimming or taping one while the other was stitching. Things like that could cut down the time.

    I feel like the satin stitch border should have been the final stitch as you won't have that extra edge.

    Im just getting into selling items and craft fairs.. Just wondering about using Disney and sports teams and copyright infringement. I have heard that you could be given a very hearty fine because you have to have their approval to sell items with such themes. Thank you 💗
