As big as the fandom's gotten we've pretty much reached critical mass. I think that we'll be like the Star Trek fandom, even if the show gets canceled for years the fandom will survive even if it shrinks.
The early days of the brony music side of the fandom were always some of my favorites, because they were about the show in general, now most of the music people make is more about specific things or newer elements of the show, which is perfectly fine... But I really do miss those older days when someone could just write a song about Derpy or Rainbow Dash, this song really captured that element that I love so perfectly, all you had to do was see the first episode of MLP and instantly you could understand this song. I've always loved how you could make your music open to people outside of the brony fandom without being so subtle that even bronies forget they're brony songs, you really have a way with words and music. Of course I'm aware Aviators helped a lot with this too though, so my same respect goes to him as well for this beautiful song. Please, 4EFB, never stop making brony music(Unless you want to stop. ;w;), you're really making this fandom lively again.
i think its _because_ the early music was all about main elements in the show that newer musicians feel the need to make their songs about secondary characters or fanfics or stuff like that, so that way their not trodding the same ground over and over. It helps their music to stay more relevant and keeps them from forming a rut. Personally I'm a fan of the classics and the new stuff, both the songs themselves and the subjects. Sometimes things can get a little confusing, like when they make a song about a fna made character or a fan fic or something like that.
Wow, I never noticed this. I just thought it was a beautiful song, and even though I'm a brony, I didn't realized it was about anything in MLPFIM, because, you know, sometimes musicians that make MLP music make music unrelated to it, for example Flowny's "Shout and Yell", but now that you pointed this out, I learned something new. We all need someone to lean on sometimes. This fandom gave me so much emotional support that I don’t think I would have been alive if it weren’t for the memories the brony fandom has given me. I wish I could have gone to BronyCon when it was still at its most pristine, but unfortunately my parents were not supportive of it at all. I’ve always looked forward to going to at least one brony convention at some point in the future when I’m financially independent. I love the artwork on this one, it looks almost like it was done with MS paint since it has sort of a rough look to it on the hair but it still looks really nice with the clean lines on the body.

The little background melodies and pads feel more like your style. That's about what I pick out instrumental wise. The vocals are obviously colab, but the chorus/drop melody sounds a little more like him while the verse has your style in there.
Okay, so I actually wrote all the lyrics and chord progressions, but here's what we did instrument-wise: 4everfreebrony: Intro - piano, drums, acoustic guitar, brass, piccolo, bells, higher strings, harp. Song - Rhythm piano, drums, bass synth, lead synths, most chorus harmony. Aviators: Intro - Lower strings, chimes Song - Strings, rhythm synths, lead piano, lower chorus harmony. And we sang our own lead parts, of course. So, I have this thing that I tend to do. When I collaborate, I tend to make stuff that sounds like it was made by the other person in the song. The same thing happened in the newer song I did with Replacer called "Piece of History".
