Hi Ashley....i couldn't agree with you more, I feel it so deeply that this is the time to build and develop Africa into what 'we' as Africans subconsciously dream about on how Afrika can and should be. I said 'we' as Afrikans meaning that anyone irrespective of their race, religion or cultural background who loves and is genuinely connected to Afrikan people and not just Afrika the continent. Less we forget, Afrika was colonised by people who only loved and will only love Afrika for its wildlife, nature and minerals, they will never respect and love the people of Afrika and that brings me to my second point, which is the most important point. We need to protect mama Afrika like never before, I dont know about you guys, as great and optimistic as things appear for Afrika right now, I also think there's a second wave of colonization swiftly making its way to Afrikas doorstep. A more sophisticated 2.0 version of colonization that will use the latest tech and AI to colonize Afrika. They arent planning to colonise Arika through the barrel of a gun, they need us as consumers. Corporations are going to colonize Afrika through what we consume, from media, FMCG to what we eat. Thats why we need our smartest, brightest and bravest from all corners of the globe right beside us in the battle to build the Afrika of our dreams.

Hello my sister Ashley, you are right about the issue of investment in tourism on our continent. Did you know that my country Sao Tome and Principe, an island located in West Africa, was classified by CNN as one of the tourist destinations in 2020 considered the African Galapagos. Yes, my sister is right, Africa sovereignly belongs to all her children and those who were taken by force, leaving their culture and family behind. Now is the time to look to the future and together we will make Africa great again.

Thanks for the information but Africans need to be productive. They must produce things, textiles food production, jewellery as we have precious minerals like gold and diamonds . We should do more to convert our raw material and mineral. The beneficiation thereof must be done here at home. Tourism is good but is not enough we need to produce tangible things to industrialize the continent for self reliance , self sufficiency and self sustenance. Keep uo the good work
I hear you. I think Ashley is trying to help awaken folks and assist those who don’t have any money for startups. This idea has low overhead and is a brilliant business to start! I own a small jewelry store among other things and would love to bring my business to the continent; however, I know it would be very expensive in terms of shipping. Who know what the future holds but thanks to this video I am thinking of doing more.

Light manufacturing is an area of business I don't hear you mention. Africa need manufacturing of all basic goods so badly, we cannot keep importing from China yet we have cheap labor in Africa too..
