Spec wise between the FZ-09 and the Hyper, they are very similar. Think the FZ has listed 115 BHP and the Hyper 110. but thats the standard Hyper, before it gets the ECU upmap and the full race system exhaust. The manual states it should give a 5-10% increase in BHP and Torque, but it felt more like 15-20% increase when I put it on. But I still feel they are very similar in power, not a lot different.
Yes, the seat; by far the most comfortable seat I have ever used. It´s the standard seat it comes with. I rode to Pattaya in 1 day; 850 km and only in the last 100 km´s my butt felt uncomfortable. On my old BMW 650GS that started at 1½-2 hours into the ride, even after I got that seat modded. No need to mod this seat. It´s perfect.
This bike is just miles and miles of smiles. Looking at getting another back here in Denmark, if I can get the financing in order with my budget. Everything is so bloody expensive here.. Enjoy it and I´ll be in touch.
Its an absolute peach of a bike and the sound is ridiculous :D Im planning on doing a day ride to Doi Ang Khang and renting the FZ one last time to put the comparison to bed. The power with that ECU setup is super sweet and honestly the seat is more comfortable then most sofas iv had the pleasure to sit on haha. To go to Pattaya on it in a day and only sore at the end is madness. The whole set up is really spot on.
I saw your post about the prices over there in Denmark and thats a really bummer sounds like Thailand years ago. Pretty much everything at the imported price.

Curtis Hickerson Cheers man. As nice as the Duc's are their V-Twin character + power would be tricky for a newer rider. I wouldnt recommend it for a fist bike. As far as road bikes go the 300cc category is the best (power vs price wise):

Motoman when running, the central red light in the dash, if temporarily activated, indicates the TC is intervening.

At what speeds and what gears will this bike power wheelie in? I'm thinking about getting one and am curious about how much power it has. I want to be able to power wheelie at atleast 45mph.

Andrew Tran Yes its a tall bike. Id say u need to be 6ft (180cm) to ride comfortably. But they have a lower seat option :D
