It will make them question your loyalty and think about how your gonna fuck them over by leaving, question how big of an emergency you will cause. And will try replacing you asap. You may get the raise just to keep you, but you will be replaced/fired asap as you proved you don't care about the job, only the money. Unless your in a position where it would be very hard to find a replacement because of how sucky the job is or a specific hard to come by skill

She Blasted Celtic Air at full volume. There was white noise between the houses. For the "car on fire" story at 30:03, depending on whether or not OP could have easily accessed some cigarettes, they should have secured several together with a wire speared through them or wrapped around them and then inserted a straight extension of the wire into the flutes of the radiator. The tow story, 2nd story I think it was, with that crappy neighbor. Its NOT illegal in all states to tow someone from private property in many states here in Australia. NSW however it is illegal to do it as described by the OP of that story.. In my state you can even call the police and have them fine the person if that person refuses to move their vehicle, and repeatedly continue to park there, and will also tow the offending vehicle after repeated behavior, or you simply call said tow truck and also get them impounded that way. As to disabling FOBs and such on renters, even under Strata regulations that is against the renting laws if the renter PAYS for that parking spot as part of their rent. Their landlord can get into serious trouble if a renter realizes such and files a complaint with the state's consumer regulations. More so if there is nothing in their lease conditions regarding such would happen.
