As a Norwegian hockey fan I'm really happy this historic event happened 2 Norwegians drafted 1 round for the first time ever on top of that 4 players drafted first time ever this is a breakthrough for Norwegian hockey 🏒, but more importantly this will hopefully pave way for more Norwegians drafted in the future.
I must say, Norway is my favorite country behind the US.The people there are so incredible, and the scenery is hard to comprehend! Really pumped to be able to root for this young man 🏒
Can't even imagine what it would be like to lace up in Detroit for the first time and one of the first people that skates up to you is Pavel for a nice little tip and tricks conversation. Wild..
Dan Cleary and Kronwall. "You will be seeing a lot of us" from Dan Cleary. WoW, Image those two being your welcoming party to the NHL and Detroit. I wish him the best of Luck on his development. Hope to see him soon in Detroit.
Looks and sounds like a good kid, lots of love for him from friends and family and Kronner 😊 Tell you what the production on the red wings videos albeit, training camps, prospect camps, take your dog to the rink day ....whatever, they are always top notch in quality!
It says nothing about his on ice play and I know nothing about his on ice play, but the dude just has the look of an NHLer, has the boyish face you look back on and think "oh my god he's so young" once he is a grizzled veteran in the league.
Pretty cool little video, will be exciting to see what all he can improve on and then what he can bring to the team in the future. Lot's of strong talent starting to build in the organization, wish this was EA Sports and Detroit was a more appealing area to live in, so they could get more top end talent now, but the organization is getting much better overall and exciting to watch. LGRW!!!
They don't typically live in Detroit.. they live in the rich suburbs of metro Detroit. It's a very appealing area to live in. It's more so the team hasn't made the playoffs in 8 years....
You will not find any Detroit pro sports athlete actually living in the city. They're in the suburbs. Niklas Lidstrom lived in the Bellagio Estates in Novi for years until he retired. Zetterberg lived in Birmingham. Yzerman lived in Bloomfield Hills; at one time, he was actually next door neighbors with Isaiah Thomas. They live in incredible neighborhoods in suburban Detroit.
This is actually real while being on a hockey camp in Norway called (back to school camp) in Kongsvinger on the last day guess Ho showed up… Him! The trainer that was on the camp was a NTG trainer that had trained him then he was younger I got my helmet signed!
Nah, i think we will see this kid in 2yrs max. This dude can play. His shot is a thing of beauty. He's a really strong skater, physical. He will probably make the jump to grand rapids next year.
@@andreasenberget1411 I think people should say his name correctly. Nobody has a problem with Arnold Schwarzenegger! 😆. I say call him by his name lol. It only sounds like a racial slur if a black African calls the game. "Nee ger is on a breakaway, Nee ger scores!!!!!"
he smells like Swedish meatballz...and coffee...wait... that's my kitchen... and I don't know any Norwegian food. I assume they eat Swedish meatballs. I hear it's like burgers in America
LETS GO RED WINGS!! You can tell he is happy to be in the NHL but more importantly for us, he proud to be a RED WING!

I visited your RUclips channel and your video quality is very good.

I love your videos
The Oh Hey From Dan Cleary… Come down a bit there.
this video was amazing
He is surrounded by good people.
Now, the hard part begins.

@@Lesevesel Chris Osgood lived in Downtown Plymouth, or right outside. I used to see him at the Post bar here and there
@@T-Will-4554 That's amazing. I think Detroit athletes appreciate not being put on a pedestal. They can just be one of the boys.

As of right now, we could potentially have him under contract for a Max of 5 years
That’s usually the case with newly drafted players unless they don’t sign
Let’s go red wings
Maybe we’ll see you in about 4 seasons.. have fun 👍

So it's pronounced "Noogard"? Haven't heard a single person say it that way yet
"newgor" is a better pronoun i think
People think it sounds like a black racial slur 😂
@@sallybags9090 i know but in Norwegian it means «new farm»😂
