Nice video DP. How does screen brightness look like? Max is 300 cd brightness. Is it good enough because of ultrasharp feature? I like bright screen for daily use. Also it's 60 hz not 100. I am planning to buy this one for my daily trading and office use.
Thanks for watching. The brightness is perfectly fine for majority of the use cases out there, as these are used indoors! I’d suggest checking out our newly launched U4025QW as well! I did a video on it - ruclips.net/video/25Pih773kWg/видео.html. The additional screen real estate will help with trading use too. #iwork4dell
Why does no one ever show how the KVM works on this? Seems like there's only 1 PD cable, so you can't have 2 laptops w/KVM unless one is connected to a charger
Also I the kvm only for when using pip or splitscreen on the single monitor? I want to daisy-chain an overhead monitor and it would be great to jump to that too
I do a demo of the KVM functionality with one of our newer 40" Thunderbolt hub displays here - ruclips.net/video/25Pih773kWg/видео.html. One device is connected via the built in cable with PD, and another is setup via HDMI/DP and the USB A. #iwork4dell
@@dpatel_tech How is Dell's customer service? I attempted to purchase a monitor from LG, it arrived damage, took 4-5 business days for them to approve my replacement request, told me once they received my returned monitor they would issue a replacement to be shipped, and when my monitor returned, they said the item is on backorder, and may be about 4-8 weeks. I cancelled everything and likely won't be doing business with them again. Waiting 4-5 months for a monitor is ridiculous. Would I be able to separate the 40" screen into multiple displays so Microsoft Teams could display a "screen" (section of the monitor) without displaying all 40" of pixels? Also, how do you think you would operate the KVM with the 40" landscape and a 27" as portrait? I can only imagine needing a separate KVM switch, or putting the monitor connections through an external KVM to solve this. Then again, I'm not sure if I'd need a 27" portrait with the 40" screen. Perhaps I could connect and HDMI from the 40" to the 27" and use the KVM that way? Or would that not work for daisy-chaining. If it did, would it be fine with HDMI/DP/USB-C or only USB-C? Thanks for the reply, and thanks for the videos!
The U3423WE would have included the following cables (www.dell.com/en-ca/shop/dell-ultrasharp-34-curved-usb-c-hub-monitor-u3423we/apd/210-bfou/monitors-monitor-accessories) 1. Power cable 2. Hi Patel, I’m confused between this U3425WE or U4025QW according to dells comparison they both have same IPS black technology I can see the difference between the Ppi 34” has 110 and 40” has 140. I’m gonna use this with my MacBook Air m2 and after reading Reddit lot of people saying that Mac OS only works better with monitors at 110 ppi or 220 ppi retina displays. So if I get U4025QW will Mac OS scale it down? and if it does so does that mean I’ll be using same resolution as U3425WE then?
@@dpatel_tech I also liked how you broke down what each letter of the model name means. Also I knew that already, I think many people don't and will be really helpful. I've ordered my U3423WE and hope to receive it in a perfect condition soon. It's gonna be the very first time for me to use a wide screen monitor, hopefully I'll like it.
I didn't create one - but you can connect via a single USB Type C cable to your host system (if supported) or HDMI/DP + USB Downstream cables for the hub. #iwork4dell
how does the text look like ? in my current monitor dell U3417W it looks blurry so want to make sure if they are any better in the newer models ?
Text looks awesome, thanks to IPS Black technology. Give it a try #iwork4dell

Great unboxing video!
Hey! Thanks for the feedback. Glad you liked the video.

Do you have a video on how to connect the monitor and my laptop?
I didn't create one - but you can connect via a single USB Type C cable to your host system (if supported) or HDMI/DP + USB Downstream cables for the hub. #iwork4dell
@@dpatel_tech My sister was able to figure it out for me. Have to use the cords in exactly the way they are used in the pic/directions.
Hi - how can I lower the screen?
Hello - you can push it up and down to adjust the height.
Is there height adjustment
Yes, the U3423WE is height adjustable (in addition to swivel and tilt). #iwork4dell
hello, can i daisy chain this with another dell (currently have S2722DC)?
Hi there - thanks for watching. Unfortunately we do not have daisy chain availability on the U3423WE. #iwork4dell
