Thank you Jen for this amazing videos, I have been painting cats forever but people have been asking me for a coloring book and I didn't know how to start. Your art is so beautiful and inspiring...
Thank you so much for creating and sharing your process! I am not good with technology but I want to learn how to do coloring pages. I paint with acrylics onto wood peg dolls and want to create coloring pages about them. Hopefully I’ll catch on eventually! 😂
Hi Jen. I love your channel and have followed you for a while. I’m a children’s book author/illustrator and published my first book through KDP. I also have a coloring book. I’ve looked at printing presses I notice many order overseas. Do you mind sharing the manufacturer you use?
Wow! This looks so fun. I was thinking of making a colouring book of all the memorable landmarks and favourite spots in our home town. This gave me a lot of guidance. Thanks!! :)
Many thanks for sharing your process Jenn! I'm in the middle of making my coloring book from old character designs and selling it on Amazon KDP to hopefully make passive income.
Thank you so much for your content! Do you mind sharing the manufacturers you use for your coloring book and stickers or do you hsve any suggestions on where to start? Thanks
How did you find your manufacturer for your coloring book? I have published two coloring books with KDP and while they are still good quality I was curious about what other manufacturers out there for coloring books. The paper quality with KDP is ok but I would like to see better. I know I have an option of making my own with my own binding machine from home but I don't think right now with a small audience it would be feasible to do and invest and all the equipment that could sit for long periods of time.
Wow! I love your illustrations. You are so inspiring! After watching this video you are pushing me more to get back on track and learn to use procreate. I have done illustrations on procreate but something always goes wrong on my layers/line drawings/effects. Well everything goes wrong honestly and I loose my patience. I was thinking of buying Lisa Bardot's Drawing digital book. Maybe that will help lol. Thank you for inspiring me and many others 😊
In the beginning, using a new drawing app like Procreate can be a bit intimidating and confusing but the more you use it, I promise it'll become easier! To learn, I watched so many video tutorials and I read through the Procreate Handbook on the Procreate official website. I didn't discover Lisa Bardot when I was first starting out but she's a really good teacher! Good luck on your journey! You got this❤️
Milanote is a new tool that I've added to my organizer/planner tool kit and I'm really loving it! Notion is where I do most of the planning and write out my to do lists and tasks as well as notes and ideas. Milanote is more for individual projects. I like that I can see everything all together like I shown in this video for my coloring book. Notion is nice but for a visual board and references Milanote works really well :) As for my sketchbook, it's a Midori MD Notebook! I love their paper so much and they have a bunch of sizes. I'm using the A5 Codex one ❤️
I put a blank page between every page because I know some people, myself included, like to use markers to color. The coloring page is always on the right side and the blank page on the left. Hope that makes sense!
Sure! I have a 2021 iPad Pro and I use the 2nd Gen Apple Pencil. I opted for an iPad with a larger screen and more storage because I expected to make a lot of art and use it very often. So when you're considering an iPad to buy, I would take into account how much you think you'll use it. I recommend more storage because it's frustrating to have to constantly clear out space. The newest iPad Pros that just came out are packed with really nice features and they are the only ones compatible with the new Apple Pencil Pro that also has new features that would be great for making art. So I would say I prefer the Pro models because they will last a long time. I've been using my current iPad for 3 years now and it still works just as it did when I first got it. there are a lot of things to consider but those are some of my thoughts lol I have a lot of opinions but I recommend watching some reviews on RUclips of other artists who have made full videos talking about and comparing different iPads :)
$19.99 USD = $29.47 AUD per bokk Looks like shipping to Australia, is basically flat rate at $28.99USD or $42.47 AUD for more than 1 book. However, only buy buying a lot, will that make shipping per book cheap enough. So shipping 20 books would make it cost $2.12AUD/book. Shipping up to 32 books will be subject to GST, not not any duties. (I've done this a lot) So, only worth it, if people want to share the order - also further shipping costs within Australia.

@@fructusillustrations Thank you so much for reading and responding to my comment 😊. I greatly appreciate it. Thank you for the encouragement! 😊
Thank you so much for sharing. You're a huge inspiration for why I'm continuing to do art

@@fructusillustrations I love that - thank you!
How do you get such smooth lines when you draw?? I've never used Procreate, does it have something that helps smooth line work?
So happy for your success ❤ 🎉
Thank you! 😊
Who is the printer/binder/publisher you use? So cute
Thank you for making this video :)
Of course! I know there was a lot of questions on this so hopefully it's all a bit clearer now :)
Love it
Hi hun do you still use mila note?
Which sketchbook is this? I really like the size and amount of pages. I'd love to find one.
It's the Midori MD Notebook Journal! They have a bunch of sizes but I have the A5 Codex 😊
How do you organize every drawing and put the 40 pages together?
I put a blank page between every page because I know some people, myself included, like to use markers to color. The coloring page is always on the right side and the blank page on the left. Hope that makes sense!

@@fructusillustrations Thank you! Very helpful :)
May I ask who u use to manufacture ur stickers ?
It looks like she's using Sticker App - you can get samples sent to you and they're really good quality too
I'm curious about the manufacturer for the coloring books
❤❤❤
Jean Milanote is good. Make easier your work. I like how to plan and organise your colouring books. I love your work. ❤😊
It really does and I love using it to plan out my projects to see everything all in one place! ❤️
