So entertaining from the shore or for us watching these videos to witness these masochists get pounded by a giant closed out shore-break. I've never "purposefully" ridden a wave that was a hopeless ball-crusher. At least it's not a reef break. The stones it takes to saddle these waves is just beyond me. I honor all of you whose contributions put you in the bug-on-a-windshield hall of fame!

I miss the north shore so much it hurts. We used to go shroom at the cow fields between pipeline and sunset then trip-an-body surf right here at kiekes bradda. So ono . use to break my okole all the time here and at sandys.
Can someone please tell me the specific location of this beach or at least beaches around it? I'd like to take a vacation there one day, as a Floridian on the west coast we don't get such beautiful and amazing waves like that.

I went bodyboarding in waves very similar to these in Australia yesterday, but large enough swells to see them really reach their potential are a lot rarer. In Hawaii, the swells are consistent...
North Shore is on the Island of Oahu judging by the wavesize it's probably Winter, another nice beach around the northshore would be turtle beach or pipeline.

I live in Avalon New Jersey and I'd say their are some pretty big waves. Definitely not as big as these waves and I will tell you that the water is not as crystal clear down here but still I think it's absolutely beautiful. We live on the bay.
Is this a gopro and if so which one and what are the settings. I have a gp4 and I'm getting a trigger just want to know the best setting so it looks good when you slow it down. THANKS
