- Zak Domogalla interviews Waylon Reavis of Mushroomhead at Southland Ballroom in Raleigh on behalf of NC Local Music. Waylon was filling in for Ventana at this show as lead vocals.
Lots of respect for Waylon. Seems genuinely appreciative, is friendly, works hard, and enjoys what he does for a living. Can't ask for much more.
I liked the interviewers questions on this video. Waylon is an inspiration. love and respect.
I met him back when he played with mushroom head in my home town. he was nothing less than nice to me and my friend. even sung few bars of soul is mine with out his mask on with out all the stage bullshit on just right there face to face for us. I like when ppl who do music do that it shows they care about ppl who look up to them and enjoy the music they make. so THANK YOU WAYLON AND THANK YOU MUSHROOMHEAD AND COUNT LESS OTHERS THAT ARE JUST AS NICE LIKE THAT AND THE WONDERFUL MUSIC THEY GIVE US!
Jakob Bowman Waylon was probably the member of Mushroomhead that cared about the fans the most. Now he's out.

First of all Pig wasn't kicked out, he quit the band on his own terms because he did not want to tour anymore. second he never wrote any of the lyrics. the lyrics have always been written by Jeff, Waylon, and J Mann.

Waylon filled in for Scott (Ventana vocalist) cause Scott was sick at the time and had to miss a few shows.

He's my favorite singer besides J mann. He's range of voice from grungy to growl is pretty awesome. Having them both in the band will be epic. Looking forward for their new album.
