HELLYEAH is a heavy metal supergroup fronted by Mudvayne lead singer Chad Gray. The band also features Mudvayne guitarist Greg Tribbett, Nothingface guitarist Tom Maxwell, Damageplan bassist Bob Zilla and former Pantera drummer Vinnie Paul.
The idea of a supergroup originated back in 2001 when various members of bands like Mudvayne, Nothingface, Slayer, Slipknot and Sevendust went on tour together and discussed forming a separate band.
Talks continued over the next few years and the truly interested persons began to come together, forming the current lineup for HELLYEAH. Within the year this unknown group of music superstars went into the studio to record their debut album. And in April 2007, HELLYEAH's self titled debut album was released under Epic Records, landing at #9 on the Billboard Charts.
Featuring the hit singles Alcohaulin Ass, You Wouldn't Know and Hellyeah, the album received generally positive reviews and gained extensive radio airplay nationwide. Directly following the album's release, HELLYEAH began touring with superstar acts like Korn and Evanescence, putting the band's image and music on the national stage.
Following extensive touring over several years, HELLYEAH went back into the studio to record their sophomore album Stampede. By mid 2010 the album was nearing completion, and a lead single off the album Hell Of A Time was released (the single has already risen to #14 on the Mainstream Rock Charts).
With Stampede set for a July 2010 release, as well as a spot on the Rockstar Uproar Festival confirmed for the summer (alongside Disturbed, Avenged Sevenfold, Stone Sour and Halestorm), HELLYEAH looks to continue alcohaulin ass to the top of the rock charts.

You know what i like with your channel Bryan ? The diversity. You're a one-man mTV. I don't watch MTV, i don't have cable, i cut cable, i'm a reader but i like watching your interviews now and then. I don't watch all of them and not always fully but i still think the spirit of what you do is wicked.
Hellyeah was hands down may favorite band at LaZeRfEsT ... Wish I would had been able to see them at Pop's the night before !!!

I've been watching a lot of other rock interviews (when you get a chance, reference some Peter Steele / Type O Negative interviews) and some of them are so horrible, they're embarassing. I'm sure you know who they are :)

Bryan, I'm not sure you read the comments, if you do I'd like to--if I may--offer a little peice of advice I once heard. Someone once told me that the most important part of an interview are the first two, three questions. Once you've gotten the interviewee's attention you can later ask any dumb question and they are likely to give you an interesting answer. In other words, start strong. I'm saying this because I like your interviews except for the warm-up questions that didn't work with HY.
