- My own team Vs GV Arlong 1, max difficulty.
Coated Sunny lvl 12 5/5/5 is needed for round 2 of stage 5.
Lvl 150 Rayleigh and Nami are required.
Other units probably can be less invested.
Special thanks to LT Aran and LRS Blacksoul, for their Kata/Ovens and Chauzu for stage 5 "exploration".

So I was using yer vs Arlong team for GV
First of all thanks for the team.
Secondly I would like to add a bit of changes I did.
(Though it would require a bit more HP investment maybe.)
But now it can be done with Merry ship and without Resilience sockets using the same team
So I used Barto support rather than Brook support.
And Merry instead of the Sunny.
So stage 1: used the same strat
But for stage 2: I didn't use KataOven super type. Just tapped
Stage 3: I used their supertype here.
Stage 4: same
Stage 5: same tapped on the last mob only with greats
If your HP investment is high you won't die.
And Rayleigh would trigger
Barto will bind the crew.
Here the Merry's new special will come into play.
And the rest is the same..

Sorry if the answer to my question is obvious, but I don't see the connection between Rayleigh's Special and Arlong's resilience. How is it possible for you to end this in 1 turn just after Arlong has recovered a few HP?? I understand that there's Oven & Katakuri's EOT, but I tried to do the same thing with another character, since I don't own Rayleigh, and I definitely can't deal any EOT to Arlong just after he's eaten his little piece of meat... 🤔
@@666-Jay dunno what you did...but burn will kill Arlong after he revives.
@@forestforestOPTC Thanks for your answer. I can't see any other explanation but 'Burn' is the only EOT that can do that. This info is very important to me so I'm really grateful! I can't use my Oven & Katakuri due to the second 'Despair' debuff. Currently I have no option to remove it, so their Captain Ability's EOT becomes unusable just when I desperately need it (this is true with any other character that provides an EOT, such as Hawkins 6*+). I tried to use the Krieg's Pirates' ship, 'Dreadnought Sabre', as a workaround, but with no success, as I said in my first post. This GV truly is a brainteaser to me, this is the last chapter of GV that still stands up to me in Lv. 5, and I'm totally at an impasse despite the countless combinations I tried... 😡🤬😮💨

I also own 'Shanks & Buggy', but how do you explain that we can use it in this GV quest at Lv. 5, since they belong to the 'Slasher' and 'Driven' classes, but not to 'Cerebral'?? I feel like I'm missing something that is very obvious here, but still I can't understand this point... 🤔

For the last stage. Do you need to restart the quest every time hoping for resilience sockets ? Or It Is ok to just close and reopen the game

@@olotyxeros ship il coated sunny, PvP 12 5/5/5. 180 hp, 190 atk, 180 rcv.
I believe it clears with lower investment as well. My tap order was not brilliant (you should end with Shanks/Buggy).

Kinda tricky. You need to change supports and bugstall first stage.
RR Raizo on Hiyori. V2 Jinbe on KataOven.
Bugstall first turn, then KataOven superclass to heal and switch vivibecca. Bugstall again and swap again vivibecca.
V2 Ray should not activate.

Sadly, not (at the moment). You'd need a support that removes 2 turns of despair on unit cast final stage.
