Thanks, we appreciate the comment! We use lightweight jig ( 3/16th - 3/8th ) heads. Sometimes use drop shot or double fluke rigs. We try different stuff to see what works.
Primarily depends on what fish I’m targeting. If it’s croaker, perch & corbina it’ll be a longer rod ml w a 2-2.5” paddle tail. If it’s bay bass more oh a mh - h rod w bigger baits
Thanks for the sub! You do not need a fishing license to fish at a Jetty or a pier but you do need a license to fish anywhere else. That means at Dockweiler (first spot in the video) you do need a license. Happy fishing!
Mdr is great. You guys just dont know how to fish the place. I catch halibut, sargo, corbinas, opaleyes , sand bass, spotted bay bass, as well as stripper bass(secret spot).
Sick Vid ! Those drone shots looking good . 🤙🏻

The tip of that jetty is my go to spot. Great bonito action in the fall.

Sick bro just subbed.
Do you eat the white fin croakers?
Thanks for the sub! Much appreciated!
No, unfortunately we haven't yet. We want to do a catch n cook some day! Soon hopefully!
many of the species in that area are contaminated. really you can only eat the more rare fish to catch. my goal is to catch a halibut there.
white croaker does not have a chin barbel FYI
Thanks! We just call the croakers white or yellow based on their fin color.
