- In this video I show you how to put a kayak on a car if your car doesn't have a roof rack. Disclaimer I dont care about the exterior of my car and if you do you might want to look into alternative methods like not kayaking or getting a proper roof rack. This is an easy way to do for poor folk like myself you just need a couple noodles and a couple ratchet straps and bam you got yourself an adventures and things approved roof rack.
This video is so Canadian, (in a good way) and we are all for it! Happy kayaking - we hit the water today for our first of the year!

does anyone know if there is any way to lock your kayak some wat so it doesn't get stolen if you dont have an actual roof rack
Thats a really good question. The only thing I can think of is just making sure the ratchets are on the inside of the car. Or if you can fit a chain or a coated wire that are folded over at the end that you can get a pad lock through. I will look into it more. Thanks for watching and a hreat question
