@@freehahahafree Being raised in captivity they wouldn't be able to survive out in the wild. A sanctuary is the best we can offer them - I agree they shouldn't have been taken from the wild to begin with, but to do a full release how they are now, they wouldn't survive.

You can clearly see how intelligent they are and how much it means to them. Animals are far more aware than they are given credit for and cruelty laws are an absolute disgrace everywhere. Whoever did this needs to be locked up in the dark for 28 years to know what it feels like.

The look of awe on that poor chimp's face when seeing the sky for the first time was heartbreaking and joyful at the same time.

It's almost too emotional for words to watch this😢..it made me angry at humans for locking them up in the first place, it made me so grateful to the ones that rescued them. I've never felt both emotions at once!. This is a shocking feeling 😢
How we treat animals tells a lot about human beings! The good and the absolute evil. I'm SO thankful for the good! 🥲 We can't always create a perfect world or the best conditions for them. So when those who CAN give them the best do give them the best, it really fills my heart! ❤

we used to adopt abused cats. Marco had the saddest story and we were warned to expect bad behavior. He figured it out in less than a day, he was safe here. We lost Marco just months ago but he knew what "forever" meant. Miss you Marco
You made me cry. We got Archie from a rescue ehome and he was cowering under the platform he was meant to sit or lie on. They said he never looked at any visitor for 6 months and no one wanted him as he was scared of everyone. As soon as me and my w8fe went to him he warmed to both of us, it was incredible. We took h8m home a few days later. That was 13 years ago. He died a few months ago and i miss him so much it is like a pain. Archiepuss was an amazing cat.

Breaks my heart that these animals were imprisoned for so many years, and some wonderful souls came along and showed them unconditional love. There are those who need to know what imprisonment feels like so they understand what freedom feels like.

For the heartache they felt imprisoned all those many years from heartless monsters and then for the glorious freedom they found through the love of rescuing angels! What a horrible beginning but thank God a beautiful ending. Amen! Animals are also God’s creation. Anyone who intentionally hurts and imprisons any type of animals truly deserves lengthy jail time or to be “Taken Out of This World for Good”! so he, she or they never ever get another chance to hurt again.

These poor, sweet, magnificent darlings. I’m honestly in tears watching this. Human beings suck! That saying “behaving like an animal” has always been used as an insult, but I truly think If we behaved more like animals, the world would be a much nicer place.
