I tought the paintjob wasn't that bad untill I saw the still shots. Especialy the blue. Too bad. I don't envy you painting altough fun to do sometimes sucks because you can screw it up easy. Like I said I got this kit wednesday. Started building today. Only need the head/body unit and then it's done. I've done pannellining and some paint on the siloutflyer. So far a verry fun kit to build. Can't wait till you've repainted it.
I have an Airbursh booth that I use for my kits. its still cold here in NJ so its not a good idea right now. I will wait about a mouth(Like end of april or beginning of may) so that I can start re-painting it agian.
Well, you finished it! (almost... xD) Paintjob aside, the model does look pretty good. It reminds me a bit of Strike, but with a more "advanced" design. Pretty nice. Perhaps when you've completed re-painting the kit & everything, you might do a review of the model itself...?
its really not that flimsy, Its very tight in the legs and arms. The noise it makes comes from the paint rubbing agiesnt it self making it sound like that. I really can't wait to redo this kit later on.
That's something that really sucks for me too; having to wait for the weather to improve before you can airbrush (or in my case, spray paint) any of your models. And winters can be pretty bad & last a little too long where I live. >:-(
Good work on your 3D-puzzle xD It's allways a pain noticing that your paint job didn't turn out well. What made the trouble again? If I remember well the white spray paint didn't spray on even. Those nip marks. Did you paint the parts on the runners? Looks horible at some shots :-( Thanks for showing. Liked watching this series.

gotta love the back pack....
He's actually referring to the 1/144 scale he brought in near the end for the size comparison. And I agree, some paint would really help it...
