Since beginning his comedy career in Melbourne, Australia in 2005, Randy Feltface has written and performed eight solo stand-up comedy shows, released three comedy specials, played sold-out seasons in London and New York, and been nominated for Best Comedy at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He made his US television debut on NBC’s Bring The Funny in 2019 and has been invited to perform at the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal on four separate occasions.
In 2010 Randy joined forces with musical comedian Sammy J to create Ricketts Lane, which won Best Show at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and went on to become a television series of the same name, airing in 2015 on ABC TV in Australia, Seeso in the US and Netflix in the UK. Randy's role in Sammy J & Randy in Ricketts Lane earned him an AACTA Award nomination for best performer in a comedy series, the first non-human performer to be recognized in this category. He opened his most recent show Modus Operandy at the Sydney Opera House as part of the 2019 Just For Laughs Festival before shows in London, Amsterdam and an extensive North American tour. Randy’s live show is a high-energy existential crisis, full of biting observations, razor-sharp crowd work, and rapid arm movements.

My favorite Randy bits are when he makes a joke out of audience members giving him absolutely nothing to work with. It's truly an art to make "I am drowning up here" a punchline.

Even when they give him NOTHING he manages to turn it into something hilarious.
I feel like this is one of Randy’s most iconic moves. Get an audience member to tell him what they did, probably knowing most people didn’t do anything very eventful that day, working with it decently, and blaming that audience member for why his improv is crap which in turn makes the entire bit that much more funny
The "customer service at a farm" thing, and also the Easter bunny, makes me think it's one of those farms that has a little shop on the land that they sell their produce from (and apparently have events). Like, there's a locally famous dairy farm next to me called Cook's that uses their milk to make ice cream and sells it out of a little shop they built on their property. It's amazing ice cream and a really cute little shop, and you can pet the cows while you eat the ice cream

damn, I wish i knew that this was in town. As a fellow Kendall resident, the street lights have been messed up for some time now so I agree with Kevin.
rather brave for Randy to admit that he's not very good at improv and crowd work, and that's fine with me. i love his comedic art in telling a riveting story about his life, his lessons, and his cultural background as an aussie (me being from the US).
He's amazing at crowd work. Improv, well, can't have 'em all.

For those who were wondering why an American audience might not think of homestead and plantation as close synonyms, homestead has at least one very different meaning that most adult Americans encounter: on the yearly income tax forms, there is an option to deduct based on the taxpayer's "homestead." That alone makes homestead a poor synonym for plantation in the minds of most Americans.
A second widely-known use of the word homestead describes the US government selling farm-sized plots of land to families in the Midwest after the Civil War. So, in that sense, a homestead diverges from a Southern plantation.
In the US vernacular, a plantation conotes a large farm with many workers, especially in the South and with slaves. A homestead, however, strongly conotes land belonging to and inhabited by a single family, with the size ranging from a couple of acres up to a ranch, located in a rural or ex-urban area.
Oh! And this show was in Dania Beach, Florida. The city of Plantation is in the same county, and the city of Homestead is south of Miami, which is in the next county.
Also, despite the names, the economy of the peninsula of Florida (where this show was) wasn't built around slavery (unlike Mississippi, for example) but slavery was certainly a part of the economy and ingrained in the politico-legal system. So, the legacy of slavery is relatively easy to ignore in South Florida. _relatively_
