i guess as a puppet he is a literal knucklehead. you hand a guy money to watch... your money, and assume he'll just not walk off with it.
Seeing all these strange interviews really makes me want to see him pop up randomly in the middle of an episode of Sesame Street with this energy.

What REALLY sells the fact that they mic'd up Randy, is that there's audio jank/crackles whenever he fiddles with it. It's so good, whether or not it was intentional

@@liamkelly3583 Fake as in, a prop. You can take a real mic and make it fake by simply not plugging it in... microphones aren't on 24/7 you know..

It really speaks a lot to Randy’s skill as a puppeteer that I didn’t question why they’d given a mic to the puppet for a second.
It’s like how there’s anecdotes of people working alongside the Muppets who’d completely forget there was someone under the desk controlling the puppets

(Also I very much love that since Randy's eyes are what they are, he reacts very much like a blind person when someone approaches them without warning or introduction. I don't know the Anchors I'm sorry, when the guy on the right gave a comment and Randy turned his head and went "HELLO" because he had not been talking to him yet, that is p much how I have seen (ha) people with low eyesight react to someone who is just standing around starting to talk. In general, it's probably good to say your name first lmao.)
