To be honest I thought the song was okay. Especially for the time when it came out but in the end my feeling towards the song is that the real fans that love these artists are going to be the ones that really don't forget about the song and will still listen to it regardlessly because it's by their favorite artist or artists 😅 for example don't bash at me but I listen to Mariah Carey a lot at times and her song "almost home" even though you don't hear it a lot or hear it at all. I will still listen to it because I liked her as an artist for her vocal range and for when I hear her voice and reminds me of my grandma who passed away where I would sit there as a kid with her listening to Mariah Carey sing. So what I'm getting at is even though the song probably might have been a flop there is going to be things out there where people will still love the song regardlessly and it will be because of reasons of they just love the singer or it brings back a good memory or something. I won't look too far into the depths of why is was bad or what could have changed or done differently. I would look more into the time that was spent together what happened at the time the excitement the happiness the feelings and emotions that was felt in that present time because that will make the lasting memories especially when it's around something that people love.

thanks for sharing that beautiful memory about you & your grandma listening to mariah carey she is an amazing artist and songwriter, also makes me happy to see almost home get some love, one of my favorite mariah songs, you make a great point regardless if the song was loved or not that dosent mean it wont bring joy or good memories to others during that time, great comment btw, loved reading your opinion on this and getting a different perspective on seeing music

personally this song had 0 replay value, nothing fun interesting catchy or cool to hear. I heard it when it was released and completely forgot about it AS SOON AS IT WAS OVER! amazing women in the song and video unfortunately they were given a trash song.

Their voices don’t mesh well with each other. I’d prefer the song if it was Miley or Ariana ft. a female rapper. Lana was soooo random although her part was good. Her part just didn’t fit the song/vibe.

lana part dose sound more darker then the rest of the song, i have wondered if maybe they went with the production style of lana bridge for a full song, maybe it would've been better for all three and also give that cinematic feel

I remember when this song came out and everybody was fully lying about how Lana made the song sound so good, when in reality, her addition to the song didn’t fit well. I heard it once and never wanted to hear it again. The movie wasn’t any better.
Honestly the song and the movie were perfect for each other because the song were boring and unlistenable and the movie was cringey and unwatchable.

yea i did see articles about the movie doing badly though im still curious about maybe watching it one day not sure why 😅 as for the song though it did grow on me, i do think another song shouldve been selected for them to collaborate on instead
