YES! Thing about ships. If ppl feel a ship is soulmates that’s fine. But I hate weak arguments that say “just because”. If Bangle fans say “soul mates”, they must back it up. Because I can back Spuffy up with tons of evidence. Spike got closer to Buffy’s family than Angel ever did. A huge part of love is knowing someone’s family. Afterall, that’s what marriage leads to
@@lessismore8533 Another thing I noticed about Spike is the fact that strangely Joyce never seemed "scared" of him ?? Like, everytime she'd meet Angel she was always wary, but when it came to Spike ? Nothing. Actually, she even looked like she was amused by him lol. Bangel wasn't realistic at all. Buffy always acted like a child around him (which she was of course), she was constantly on the edge, overwhelmed. Whereas with Spike she seemed more like herself. On another note, as much as I'm a hard Spuffy fan, let's be real, Buffy could never marry a vampire. A relationship with a vampire can't work. While you'll grow old he/she wouldn't.

I wouldn't say there wasnt a total innocent agenda behind it but Spike obviously respected Joyce and cared for her.
Must be his Mommys boy history.
Just a nice guy Buffy’s mom can and will invite inside the house
It doesn't matter if they were friends or not, still don't think Joyce would have ever have approved of him as a suitor for Buffy. She'd have preferred a human like Riley or, if it had to be a vampire, then probably Angel but Spike? She'd never want him for her daughter. I can tell because when Buffy told her and Willow about Spike's crush on her, Joyce was really worried about it.
Mm maybe not soulless spike, but souled spike would be another thing i think.
I love the scences wit spike and joyce
I love that James had me fooled the entire time. I would have bet money that accent wasn’t a put-on.
Me too 😭 Like I remember reading he wasn't actually British and thinking "that's incorrect."
I know, a lot of the time American actors do terrible British accents but his is pretty incredible
Joyce was cute.
spik'ın tüm summers kadınlarına olan saygısı ve sevgisi beni çok minnoş hissettiriyor
thats right hes a mommas boy.
cant believe i forgot that
Passions was the best soap ever
From the interviews I've seen with him, I think I could have a decent conversation with Mr. Marsters if we ever happened to meet, which is not true for many celebrities. I used to work for Amtrak and met a few, most were nice people, even to the "help". It's one of the few things I miss about the job.
They LOVED Passions!
(I had to google it because I forgot how awesome Timmy and Tabitha were!)
It was kind of unfortunate we didn't get nore spike and Joyce scenes
Spike is my favourite all time vampire he is the best
I love Joyce 🥰
Dawn has the right response to that one lol
James marsters is hilarious
I love him❤❤❤
Accent went a bit aussie there for a while!
Oh god I think Spike is one of the reasons I like guys with blonde hair 💛😂
Damon and Sheriff Forbes vibes. Tvd took so many things from Buffy i swear
i crack up every time he says daughter like 'dotter' im english and we do not say it like that lmfao
You know, for hitting a guy in the head with an axe, she did almost no damage. She just kind of…tapped him with the edge.
I always wondered that, she litterely whacked him with an axe, yet the damage it did was similar to that of a news paper 💀
@@dizzybatz yeah, normally the axe would literally split your skull, which very well could be fatal even for a vampire. Since they don‘t survive decapitation, it‘s clear there must be some limit to how much head trauma they can sustain without dying.
Was spike bad yes but he also could control his evilness. Point being with Joyce he never went out of his way to hurt her though he easily could’ve especially with not having a soul. Spike is and always was a romantic. When he hurt Buffy by trying to rape her he truly felt bad and bc of that went to go fight for his soul back. It wasn’t given to him he earned it for Buffy.
Wait what I never got was how he was in the kitchen with Joyce and Dawn but then could not get in after buffy threw him out in the same episode is that a plot hole or something?
Lol
How did spike enter buffy house without been invited
Joyce (the actual homeowner) invited him.
I suppose I should be grateful the flower scene isn't here 🥺
Ya ur not invited, 😂
Your a very bad man lol.
That was so cute!!!
Spike and Joyce watching "Passions" together is possibly my favorite thing in this entire show
and dawn being done with that was GOLD!!
what episode was that
@@dylanleff373 I'm not sure, it's at some point in Season 5 when Buffy is hiding Joyce and Dawn from Glory and she stashes them in Spike's crypt because he can theoretically protect them.
@@dylanleff373 its "checkpoint" in season 5.
Here, here!
Well, her opening their relationship by hitting him with that ax was like her going straight to third base with him.
And not 'ax'idently, either.
@@lauragraves4342 It was a sort of a meeting by ax.
I understand that reference, buddy describing that she hits spike a lot and that’s like 3rd base to him. Nice.
A real meet-cut(e) if you will
Lol I forgot about that 😂 “well for spike that’s like 3rd base..”
It's the way spike said "passions is coming on" and Joyce immediately starting chatting to him about it, so he sat on the arm of the chair instead of the main seat, so she could sit on the other arm and watch with him..... he's literally such a momma's boy it's hysterical
I think it's a touch of Spike's humanity that he and Joyce have something in common and he immediately responds to that.
that was so cute stop omg
@@daynechastant yah I mean Spike was close to his OWN lol back in the old days so it makes sense
You are so right. I can't shake the feeling that he probably had regular chats with his mom about the trashy romance novels of their day back when he was human.
@@dayschange2until he turned her into a vampire and she told him how much she despised him..
😂😂😂
Joyce was never scared of Spike. She actually trusted him unlike Angel. Having coffee and watching Passions together. ❤️ And there was one scene when he listened to her telling a funny work story.
The fact that even Joyce prefered Spike over Angel says it all.
Spuffy endgame.
So I'm strolling through the park looking for a meal and I happened to walk by
and she's making out with the chaos demon!
Spuffy endgame ? How ? He tried to rape Buffy !
I said, Spike meets Dottie from Agent Carter and screams not another bloody Underwood! Next thing I know my names in Witchblade, Did I tell you that one?
I love the bit where they bond over Passions! 😂
The talk about Passions is kinda making me want to watch it. I do remember it being a freaking ridiculous show when it was on- and I didn't watch soap operas, didn't care about stuff like that, so it was something to make fun of. Now that I'm older and my life is no longer a soap opera, I enjoy watching them- it would probably be fun to check it out.
what episode was that
Dawn's face was straight up like, 'wtf?'
Dru your bloody moon programmes on tele again! Pass me that bag of monster munch luv.
I always loved their friendship. It was so odd and sweet. Spike truly respected her and was fond of her because she was the one of the very few people to treat him with kidness.
Yes plus she was a mother figure to him. I guess he felt empty with his mother issues in the past
@@lessismore8533 Yeah. I wish we had more.
I think one of the saddest parts of Joyce’s death was that it was after the Summers family had their falling out with Spike, meaning she never got to know how Spike valued her and their friendship.
Only thing missing is him bringing her flowers. Excuse me, dust just flew into my eyes.
joyce was so sweet, she even let crazy ole spike in. and spike had such a soft side that of course joyce brought it out of them. they were besties fr
She didn’t - it was buffy who invited spike in (when they were working together against Angelus and Drusilla)
@@ankyfire yea but you get their point. Buffy let him in. Joyce accepted him in
@@lessismore8533 ahahha did she have a choice? He could just come in, whether Joyce accepted him or not. Once invited, always invited.
PASSIONS, timmy☠
I know the lyrics by heart 😭😭😭
I love that Joyce, filled with terror, still stands her ground telling Angel(us) to get lost or she’d stake him herself💗 U can sooo see how she’s totally Buffy’s mom there lol-strong women! I love that she grew past her unacceptance of slayer-ism and joined the mr pointy fan club.lol Spike in this clip was absolute gold..omg such a great character.
What episode is that? I can't place it
@@brianbrink8286 lovers walk I believe (season 3 episode 8? Maybe 7 idk it's been a while)
This is the first buffy video that isn’t 5-12 years old 😔 thank u sm
No problem! I still love this show so much 😊
Spike is walking comedy I love him 🤣😂
The writers really hit the nail on the head with the Joyce/Spike relationship.
I only wish there had been more scenes, them talking about Passions was one of my favorite moments.
😂😂😂
