After too. I don't know why people think that Steven is a bad person now. He pretty much spent his whole childhood helping everyone around him with their issues, but had no one who could help him with his. His unresolved issues manifested in a really unhealthy way, and yet I never see anyone talk about what Steven was feeling. Only about what he was making others feel. It almost feels like people only cared about Steven because he was a cute and funny kid, and weren't concerned about him deeper than that. Like he was a pet or something.
It would be cool if they watched Star vs the forces of evil in their free time, it would make sense that Steven got stressed out since Star stressed out Marco in the first episode of the first season of her show.

He tends to fight more defensively though, so I see why he lost. @@Phasmania That's the problem, it's their own fighting styles, even though they're both nice people, Steven would refused to fight while Star has been fighting since she was able to walk. Not to mention their powers, Steven's powers are mostly for defense but Star's powers are for destruction. Steven can't really do much against Star, the only benefit Steven had was his Pink State where his Diamond destructive powers are unlock and it's been implied they're planet level, but keep in mind Steven wouldn't use them as he prefers to talk things out rather than fight. Also Steven hasn't even mastered them since he's weaker than Pink.

Such as using her planet level spells. I swear if Star was ever asked if she would save one person or five people from being ran over by a train, Star would have destroyed the train so she wouldn't have to decide, only to kill hundreds of people who were in the train in the process

Star vs the forces of evil came out around the same time that Steven Universe did. Maybe about a year later but it’s a good show that I personally recommend watching

I've seen star and yeah she is HELLA powerful, so it made sense that she won in the end (I'm biased tho I never saw steven). I'm surprised they didn't show the part where she turned her wand into an RPG, or when she obliterated up an impenetrable and regenerative box because she was pissed off.

I liked both characters but was seriously rooting for Steven, especially as I was going by his powers.. completely forgot about Star's over powerful wand that can literally do anything. I have the Svtfoe book of spells and wish I have read the whole thing so I could had known about that whole "Universe destroying" power, since the tv series never once used that much power, which begs the question of why Star didn't used that to defeat Mina as oppose to the whole Magic Genocide she did! Yeah the svtfoe writers really messed up the finale.

I was looking forward to Link vs. Cloud, it's a really old battle they did a long time ago that was one of their most hated on fights because of how they portrayed both characters and decided their abilities, the biggest one was making Link a combination of ALL of the games and giving him EVERY item and ability from them even though they are all different people technically lol. So when I saw they were finally doing a rematch, I was pretty hyped. But with the Link preview they gave...they're doing the same thing, so now idk why they are even bothering doing it again, kinda a bummer

This is wrong, this battle should have ended in a draw. For one. Neither of these characters are killers or like to kill. Where's the peace ending! Like they did for pinky pie and deadpool.
Those characters are specifically gags though. These two aren't, and fall under the "objections to killing are removed" rule. Otherwise they would never have Batman but he's been here FOUR TIMES.
Sadly we gotta accept it. Although, I'll never understand why they would mention how he could move really fast and never use it or fusion. Also disliked the way Steven tried to kill Star. We've seen what he could do when he was filled with murder, vs Jasper as an example.

i didn't watch either of these shows, but I knew enough about them to know that the moment I saw Star Butterfly the fight was over. From what I understand, she's one of those broken ass characters who are always as strong as the plot needs them to be, with her abilities being only limited by her imagination since she can make up her own spells as she likes without real limitation. You need a reality warper to beat someone like that, and even that's not even possible half the time. So yea, Steven turned out to only be a D or C-tier OP character while Star was a B-tier OP character possibly going up to S-tier if she was smarter. There was no way Steven was gonna win. For reference, F tier OP: strong as hell, like Levi from Attack on Titan. D tier OP: capable of destroying planets with ease, like DBZ Frieza. C tier OP: capable of wiping out galaxies with ease, like original movie Broly B tier OP: strong enough to beat anything so like as the plot calls for it, like Superman or Saitama from One Punch Man A tier OP: capable of beating literally anything so long as the plot calls for it, like Haruhi Suzumiya. Powers must at least be reality warping from here on, including Doraemon's multidimensional multichronological technology, Simone's Spiral Power from Gurren Lagann, Gold Experience Requiem, etc. S tier OP: A tier, but with full control over their powers. You know, like Full YHVH from SMT (AKA Christian God in that game) or The One Above All from Marvel (Stan Lee, who can do anything with his story so long as the company says it's okay) X tier OP: A tier, but literally capable of doing anything they want so long as they want to do it, with full control over that. For example, the Axiom from SMT, Christian God as according to the Bible, and uhh Endgame Medaka Box characters I guess

i didn't watch either of these shows, but I knew enough about them to know that the moment I saw Star Butterfly the fight was over.
From what I understand, she's one of those broken ass characters who are always as strong as the plot needs them to be, with her abilities being only limited by her imagination since she can make up her own spells as she likes without real limitation.
You need a reality warper to beat someone like that, and even that's not even possible half the time.
So yea, Steven turned out to only be a D or C-tier OP character while Star was a B-tier OP character possibly going up to S-tier if she was smarter. There was no way Steven was gonna win.

F tier OP: strong as hell, like Levi from Attack on Titan.
D tier OP: capable of destroying planets with ease, like DBZ Frieza.

S tier OP: A tier, but with full control over their powers. You know, like Full YHVH from SMT (AKA Christian God in that game) or The One Above All from Marvel (Stan Lee, who can do anything with his story so long as the company says it's okay)
X tier OP: A tier, but literally capable of doing anything they want so long as they want to do it, with full control over that. For example, the Axiom from SMT, Christian God as according to the Bible, and uhh
