Watching until then end of this one. I hope that everyone who coments puts in a like 👍. Because this is another top job video. Great job with the drone and ground shots videos. The sound mixing is well done again. Wish I could put in more than one like 👍. See on the next video.
Mike watching your great videos I'd love to be able to run all the equipment in farming like I did for only 45 years. Thanks for your great videos they bring back so many good memories
I really like the X'9s. It does a great job cutting with 50' but the spread pattern looks like it goes farther than the 50'? That's pretty awesome. Great video Mike 👍🏻.
Can’t wait to get my wheat off and take advantage of a warm season cover crop on that ground. Wow, I’m impressed how perfectly that x-9 spreads the straw. It hits the whole 50’ perfectly. My $50k combines don’t do that, but I spent all my money on the planters 😂
Happy subscriber watching in seconds of the release of this video. I have already seen enough to add a 👍. 4 minutes in I already. I hope that your likes achieve a high number.
Awesome video Mike as ever, those X9 Combines are magnificent machines but did that Grain cart Operator really only have one speed of operation, I'm amazed he managed to keep up with the X9.
Mike I lliked the viideo I would never dreamed that they cou;ld produce to major crops on the same fields. They dont wast any time getting the fields replanted
Great video Mike. I didnt know there where any big farmers, or anyone for that matter that knows what a meadow strip, or wayerway was. The grass strips that take the extra water runoff away from the field, with minimal erosion. These alway were a must on our farm in Southern Virginia.
Great video Mike! There has been quite a few X9's in Oklahoma this year, and I even had a chance to run a 1100 with a 50 foot header 2 weeks ago and still smiling! I posted a couple of short unedited raw videos on my RUclips channel. All the X9's I've seen or been around was on Custom Harvesting crews.
Im in far west ky not far from barlow down in Fulton County. Lot of 100 bu wheat around here this year. You might be able to get some footage from Grogan Farms or also called Triple G farms in Arlington. And Reams farms located in South Fulton, TN. Those 2 are probably biggest farmers in this area. They all have fleets of combines lol
Great video Mike. at the 2:00 mark you see some grass being pulled into the combine. Do the grass seeds get seperated (smaller seeds?) or is that little ''contamination'' taken for granted?
That field looks lush! Is the straw spread out instead of baled because it’s not suitable for bedding? Or does it help with the soybeans or erosion by being left on the field?
Our Class 11 X9-1100 combine rated at 690hp to 743hp max peak horsepower at 1,900rpm's high-end torque rise at 1,850 rpm's and low-end torque rise at 1,550 rpm's wit our new jd-14X 13.6 liter power tech pss 830's diesel engine wit twin vgt wastegate turbo chargers
Majority of people who raise wheat in the US don't have many or no livestock at all, and selling the straw doesn't return on the investment of the equipment to make the straw. Plus there is a timing issue, especially here in Kentucky, we want the double crop soybeans in the ground asap, baling the straw and picking it up out of the field takes a lot of time and most don't want to postpone planting soybeans after the wheat is cut. Some people will bale straw after cutting wheat but not everyone wants to do it, and the chopped straw can help retain moisture for the soybeans.
Straw does a lot for the ground and most guys say the straw is worth more decomposing back into the ground that it would be to bale and sell it. Now if the farm has livestock and needs the straw for bedding that's a different story but then they have manure to put back on this ground. Soybeans being no till planted into the wheat stubble do pretty good on most places.
Anyone else find the sounds to be very relaxing? I was nodding off to the hum of it all. Thanks Mike!
It makes ya sleepy in the combine or tractor
Amazing to see how technology can make harvesting so fast and efficient!
Excellent agriculture on the world fields congrants guys
She purrs along like a rolls Royce a positively regal machine and a real credit to JD
Those Martin Row Cleaners do awesome planting into wheat stubble.
Sir I love your channel and please keep up the good work. I love seeing equipment like this in use. Thank you have a blessed day.
Good looking wheat!
Thanks for the great video Mike

Nice extra growing area on the cab roof!
He put that on the roof just for the comment section.
This is some great footage!!! Love watching these harvesting videos!
Yes, wheat is really good. The John Deere x9 harvester looks cool.
Mike watching your great videos I'd love to be able to run all the equipment in farming like I did for only 45 years. Thanks for your great videos they bring back so many good memories

Absolute cracking video Mike ❤
I like Mike less videos on RUclips from the imperial county California 👍👍🇺🇲🇺🇲
The video is really good, thank you for sharing it with everyone
I can't imagine running 2 planters to one combine I guess the combine really moves fast
You did a great Job!! 👍 thank you

My son is out with paplow harvesting this year
Once again, superb camera work Mike, a pleasure to watch
The most modern machines in the world, I wish to own one
Very impressive 👍🇬🇧
50 years ago we used a JD 770 with a 24 foot header & grain carts hadn’t been thought of. It’s a little different now.
Awesome video Mike as ever, those X9 Combines are magnificent machines but did that Grain cart Operator really only have one speed of operation, I'm amazed he managed to keep up with the X9.
I was wondering if he was going to take the auger of in the trees?
Slow and careful is better than shoveling spilled grain.
There junk
Mike I lliked the viideo I would never dreamed that they cou;ld produce to major crops on the same fields. They dont wast any time getting the fields replanted
Looking to move to Kentucky born in Northern Vermont I work on 500 cow dairy farm like what I see nice country
Howdy Farmhand Mike
Awesome footage once again Mike! You always capture amazing drone and in the field shots. Well done!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸👍🏻

We hope to start wheat late this week or early next week.
👏👏👏👏👏exelente video , cuanto cuesta una x9 Aproximadamente??
Fantastic harvester can anyone tell me why the driver keeps up to three ft of the head out the crop
Was that a chicken barn out on the horizon of these drone shots? What do you guys think? This equipment is sized for about a 6000 acre farm?
Hmmm, couldn’t get him to drop the markers on the planter ? Just doesn’t seem right 😂. Great video 👍
GPS
Супер! 👍👍💪💪💪💪💪
Kinda neat seeing the deer running in front of the Deere @ 2:33-2:36
I didn't see them the day I was here filming but I noticed them when I was editing. Great Bonus Footage.
I would love to do a season of wheat harvest I think that would be a awesome experience ✌🏻💚🌱💯
Great video Mike.your in Big Tractor Power's territory aren't you?
Not sure about that. I go all over the place.
What do the folded wheels on the edge of the planters do? Are they to mark your planting lanes?
Lots of progress being made in a short time span. Would be interesting to know how many acres of wheat are cut and beans planted in a day.
Great video Mike. at the 2:00 mark you see some grass being pulled into the combine. Do the grass seeds get seperated (smaller seeds?) or is that little ''contamination'' taken for granted?
It should be light enough that it's blown out.
Does that field need to be filled/cultivated after the soybeans?
Excellent video Mike. How many acres do these guys farm? It wouldn’t be harvest without some cab grain on the combine!! LOL.
hopper capacity 460 bushels but wit hopper extensions u get a extra 570 bushels
Of all things on a X9 why not a power ladder
That’s some great looking wheat. What kind of yield are they getting?
I didn't ask about the yield and some guys don't like to share that information. It did look high yielding though.
Whats the going price for custom harvesting nowadays?
I'm not sure but this was the farm harvesting their own wheat here.
Good old 9 Rs still running like a box of bolts. 😂
Is there an opportunity to reap and sow in the same pass?
does the grain cart have breaks and how are they accuated?
No brakes on the grain cart that I'm aware of.
No brakes. Cart is run off power take off shaft from tractor.
😎😎
That field looks lush! Is the straw spread out instead of baled because it’s not suitable for bedding? Or does it help with the soybeans or erosion by being left on the field?
This farm does not need the straw for bedding and lots of farmers agree that straw is much better going back into the ground than to bale and sell it.
Our Class 11 X9-1100 combine rated at 690hp to 743hp max peak horsepower at 1,900rpm's high-end torque rise at 1,850 rpm's and low-end torque rise at 1,550 rpm's wit our new jd-14X 13.6 liter power tech pss 830's diesel engine wit twin vgt wastegate turbo chargers
Sorry if this is a dumb question, but, how does the planter know where it's been?
They are running GPS on the tractor. Lots of planters also have row shut-offs that are GPS controlled so nothing gets double planted.
Every combine I have seen the first place grain spills is on the cab. Is this to wake the operator up? Or just to shame them?
They put it on the cab right before I got there to video just for the comment section.
Do the Farmers dont need the straw? Or why is it beeing chipped?
And also pretty intetesting that the ground is not tilled at all...
Soybeans being no till planted into the wheat stubble do pretty good on most places.
is it worth it for the baler to get those bales that failed or are they left on the field?
They did not bale any of this straw. They were just spreading it out on the ground.
Great video. Looks like a really good wheat crop. What kind of soybean yields do they get from double cropping these days?
45-55 usually
Almost looks like barley or arent those hairs I see on the wheat?
Why not taking to eu and see how they do there?
That looks like 100 bushel wheat.
Is it just me, or is the 9r at an idle the entire time it’s unloading?
He was unloading at an idle.
Amerika da hektara ne qədər məhsul götürülür??
Should stop and see Myers Farms right down the road from this farm.
