I've retrofitted ASD from F80 to my F30. After that I can only select F80 and S55 engine, otherwise ASD is silent. Then I have downgraded ASD module to 2015 03 iStep and chose F30 SWFL-000021D4 but still no possibility to change engine. Any ideas?

Hi dear friend. I have a F30 and i want to ASD for engine noise. my car have stock sound system. There is not asd module and hi-fi. is hi-fi required? can i install just asd module for fake engine noise? Thank you for your response.

I have a 2014 F31 with the Harman Kardon sound system. Would a faulty ASD module cause the sound system to produce no sound? The sound system in my vehicle had been intermittently working the past couple of weeks until a few days ago when it completely went dead. There is absolutely no sound coming out of the sound system now: no warning tones, no startup chime, no navigation voice, nothing from the radio or old attached iPhone. The vehicle has been out of warranty for years. The technician at the service center of my local BMW dealer said the amplifier is getting power and the wiring appears to be ok so he suspects the issue is with the ASD module so the suggestion is to replace the ASD module.

I have bought an amp with the ASD module that came from a 2018 F80. I thought a straight swap would work but it doesn’t. So any tips or video on how to make this work will be so great! Just read the thread on your health, hope you are getting better and better.
