Can you please advise if I can activate or code SLI in my 2014 BMW 528i LCI in Australia?
It has KAFAS system with lane departure, collision alert with professional navigation.
Not sure why it does not show speed limit. From my search, it was not available for Australia because of road sign issues in Australia.
Any help would be appreciated

I had no idea what kafas was until after I bought the car. 2015 750Li I just realized that the camera was stolen/removed from it. The camera cable is cut and so is the cable to the rearview mirror. My question to you is, could a new fitting be places on the cut cables and a camera re-installed? Would this work? I know that it will still need to be re-calibrated, but I'm wondering whether this would work or whether new cables will be needed.
got f02 and no single driver assistance button but got HBA >>> can the bimmercode activate the road sign speed limits?

Just to confirm, I have a 2013 M550 without the Kafas Camera , I work at a glass company n can get a oem glass with the Kafas bracket on it, If I buy the actual camera let’s say from eBay would it be possible to just use that camera and put it on the new windshield?

I am not entirely sure what you mean when you say you can not have kafas camera on the e-series.. At least many e70's come with the kafas camera and lane assist/lane departure warning and the road sign detection.. Those have a kafas camera in the windshield.. On the f-series it seams like the kafas camera have their own heating built into the windshield, but I don't think the kafas 1 cameras for e70's have heaters. So is if it is not for the heating, why could one not just locate the camera in a different spot where it can look out through the windshield in stead of having to replace the windshield with one that have cutouts for the kafas?

What do i have to retrofit to get the road sign detection? Only software?

you do not need KFAS. You can run it off the maps but it will be less accurate. You call have to get that feature FDL coded.
Hello, did you manage to activate fwc ? i retrofited acc lane assist lane departure head up display kafas 2 with new windshield , but i can not code fwc to brake ... only car sign attention in dash bord appears ... can you please help me ?? thnx p.s if matters is a bmw f10

You May ask a BMW Dealer but unfortunately They won’t tell you The Truth Because if you want to add Driver assistance package They need to send your car to The Factory and it will Take 3 Months or More and it will cost you Thousands of Dollars with Shipping , so just forget about it , I have BMW 535i F10 2013 and I asked BMW Dealer in Bahrain about adding These features They told my it’s not Possible I know it’s Possible But as it Hard for Them to do The Process so Their answer will be Not Possible ..
To Add These features you need to buy Spare Parts and adding More Computers and coding and Only The Factory can do That

Actually I have the camera on my 2008 E63. So it must be possible to retrofit on the E series. But the front collision protection uses the ACC radar I think.
