My fave hospital bag video! Others I’ve seen are either too minimal or too extra lol
However as an RN can I just say the black pjs I wouldn’t recommend just because there’s a reason the hospital sheets and gowns are all white or very light colors .. especially in postpartum. They help us see any blood! One thing I always always do when checking a postpartum woman is I ask to roll in their side and check the back of their gown. Sometimes blood can seep back there especially if you’re laying on your back. Just a little tip! ❤️
I delivered just a little over 2 weeks ago. It was still an amazing experience even through covid. They just pretty much did everything in my room so it just felt like a cozier experience especially after giving birth cause I didn't have to walk to the nursery for bath time or anything.

We have that same night light and absolutely love it!! It’s a major game changer. We didn’t get one until we moved my son into his nursery but will definitely be getting another one for next baby. I hadn’t thought about taking one to the hospital but now I’ll have to put it on my list of things to take ☺️ sending prayers for a smooth labor and delivery ❤️
32 weeks with my third and I’ve completely blanked on what to bring. This was super helpful.
So exciting! I am pregnant with #4 due in End of May beginning of June and packing my bag is always one of my favorite things to do! You have some great suggestions that I will be adding to mine in a few months! ❤️

I’m due Jan 24th! My hospital bag is packed and in the car, but here I am with insomnia making sure I didn’t forget anything 😂
As a midwife it is so lovey to see you so prepared. We advise mums to bring snacks for partners too in the uk. Would you take your own water bottle. A cosy environment with your music and blanket is definitely nice for mums for sure. Stay well x
Andrews snacks are all packed!! And I won’t be bringing a water bottle because our hospital provides us big ones with a straw that we can take home with us but if your hospital doesn’t do that then yes, def bring your favorite!! Good idea!!

For toiletries use a dollar store container and put in there everything you’re using on a daily basis that will also go into your hospital bag. You will keep the container on the counter until you pack the contents of the container into your hospital bag.

Honestly I didn’t use much! Here’s a list of what I used:
- hospital gown
- night gown (wished I had another)
- blanket
- socks
- Flip flops
- vava night light
- essential oils
- toothbrush
- phone charger
- snacks (my boobie bites were my favorite. Recipe in highlights on my IG @allie_gooch)
- nursing pillow
- going home outfit (so glad I had high waisted joggers)
- hair ties
- lip balm
- nursing bras
Wished I had packed some nursing pads because I stayed at the hospital longer than I anticipated and my milk started to come in
We're due around the same time and I have NOT packed my bag. Packing it this weekend!

Hi there! I had my first baby in November and the policy was to wear a mask the entire time at the hospital (including during labor and delivery) but the nurses told us we could take our masks off. I don't think we wore ours any time except for when we were in the hallways. Hopefully your hospital is the same!
Question- what thoughts and feelings go through your mind about delivering another child since you know how painful it is? We aren't planning on getting pregnant anytime soon but I think that will be a big worry of mine since I know how bad it hurt lol. Thoughts?

As far as having more babies. Yes, it hurts but somehow I forget all that every time and the joy of having babies for me is worth any pain, recovery, physical sacrifice and any permanent changes to my body. And I don’t know why, maybe the hormones, but the delivery experience is one of my favorite parts!

I mean, I would rather not but it it what it is. 🤷🏻♀️ I only have to wear it while staff is in the room and then we can take masks off. So shouldn’t be too bad.
