  • On November 18, 2008, Steph Curry scored a college career high of 44 points, but the Davidson Wildcats were defeated by Blake Griffin and Oklahoma in the NIT Season Tip-Off tournament, 82-78. Griffin poured in 25 points and grabbed 21 rebounds as the Sooners held off Curry's comeback attempt in the second half.

      Warriors selected Stephen Curry...
      Basically, the Timberwolves need a guard and these were the top three choices at the time. Timberwolves had two chances to draft Curry, and while Ricky Rubio turned out ok and made a name for himself, most ppl have never heard of the college sensation that was the Syracuse guard, who looked like the next John Wall, which was Johnny Flynn.

    The 2009 draft class is ridiculous. 10 years later and 4 of the first 10 are still all stars. 2 of them are Steph Curry and James Harden, the first pick was Blake Griffin, and DeMar DeRozan is in there too.

      The craziest thing is that if you take the top 10 3 point shooters ever, the only one that has shot a higher % is Steve Kerr at 45.5 but on about 3.5 times less shots a game than Curry. The guy is crazy efficient for the volume he shoots.

      @@lebronjames5287 I was talking about NBA careers, Curry is averaging 44% for his career, the point I was getting at was how high his 3PT% is in such huge volume and the fact that he's managed to keep up and actually improve his efficiency since college despite shooting about double the amount of 3's a game.
