    The most important game of the season in the afc. Had the Pats won, they host the afc title game and that alone may have pushed to the Superbowl. Injuries caught up and Pats faltered, Broncos rode this victory to the superbowl

      I agree, the Patriots were "unstoppable" at home in the playoffs, and weren't easy to beat, that missed PAT by the Patriots ultimately cost them and the home crowd could have played a factor

    Peyton struggled with a bad throwing arm, and Brock Osweiler really led the charge in the 4th quarter and overtime for this upset win

      Peyton was out for most of that season with a Plantar Fascitis injury and Brock took over after the loss to Kansas city.

    CJ's touchdown run at the end is one of my all-time favorite memories as a Broncos fan. Can't remember ever cheering that loudly while watching a game

      That team was also way better than the 2014 patriots team. I hate to say this as a Jets fan, but if that Pats team doesn't have significant injuries, they probably make the Super Bowl

      I remember them being compared to the 2007 Patriots, people legitimately thought they might go 16-0 again with how they were destroying teams left and right.
      As a Cowboys fan, I was really looking forward to that matchup. Then Romo got hurt, so instead I got to watch Brandon Weeden (or whoever we trotted out that week) get stomped.

      @@jrad410 They lost both starters at running back (Blount and Dion Lewis). They were so desperate for running back help they had to sign Stephen Jackson. They also had James White as well. They also dealt with injuries on defense, on the offensive line, and could have potentially lost Gronk and Edelman for the season.

    Defending Super Bowl champion Patriots perfect season starts out 10-0, but starts to fall apart and slip down to the #2 seed with this stunning overtime loss as well as Gronk’s injury!

    Good one. This was when Peyton was playing so badly that they replaced him with Osweiler. It didn't matter though as that defense was what really carried them to a super bowl championship

    I’ve always thought about this game when I think about the Broncos Super Bowl win. If the Broncos lose, then they don’t get the one seed in the playoffs and would have had to go to Gillette in the playoffs. Because of the win, Denver hosted and then advanced. Crazy how Brock Osweiler can affect playoffs, and eventually, Super Bowls.

    I remember watching this game. Everyone else in my family was a Pats fan at the time, and I was not allowed to cheer out loud or even make any action. And when CJ scored that TD, I wasn’t allowed to celebrate, and my dad sent me to bed immediately without saying a thing. My brother pushed me in anger before going to bed too. But on the inside, I was celebrating my butt off!

    It is kinda crazy how much the Broncos have been the Patriots nemesis over the decades. Here are just a few stats showing this:
    * The Broncos beat the Patriots in the first game for both organizations in 1960.
    * Elway never lost to the Patriots, beating them 13 straight times.
    * The Broncos handed Brady and Belichick their first playoff loss.
    * The Broncos were the only team with a winning record against the Patriots with Brady and Belichick.
    * The Broncos knocked them out of the playoffs 3 times.
    * The only Patriots win in the playoffs against the Broncos was with Tim Tebow at QB.

    This is easily my favorite regular-season game of all time. I was at a bar with a buddy of mine, and I was the only Bronco fan. Needless to say I was the loudest guy in the room for about 10 minutes straight when CJ Anderson won the game!

      I think they will return to the playoffs this season, the rest of their schedule is relatively easy, but I see them winning 1 playoff game at best. I wouldn't be surprised if they get better next season since they actually have a good coach and Russ is back from the dead.

    On the other side of the two minute warning in this game, to get the Broncos in scoring position and crossing the 50 yard line, Brock Osweiler completed a 36 yard pass to Demaryious Thomas. This video should have started at the beginning of the Broncos scoring possession, NOT AT THE 2:00 WARNING.

    Man as a Pats fan I really thought we were gonna repeat back to back champs because we started like 10-0 but injuries happened and that was the ultimate factor in us not having 3 consecutive Super Bowl championships because we won in 2014 and 2016 but I really thought this 2015 season was also our year because we were unstoppable, the fact that this team was so heavily decimated with injuries and Tom Brady STILL almost led us to the Super Bowl falling 2 points shy (damnit im still pissed how Gotskowski missed a PAT in the first quarter then we wouldn’t have even had to go for 2, just an extra point would’ve forced ot) of the Super Bowl truly shows how great he is, no other Qb can compare to his status, I mean cmon Mahomes and the Chiefs when they deal with injuries everyone just makes excuses for them because of how vulnerable they are but not for Brady STILL dominated regardless of injuries and personnel om the roster

    Pats were quite clearly the best team this year. They should have won 3 in a row from 14-16 and arguably 5 in a row from 14-18. This game and injuries cost them the superbowl this year. Look who Brady was throwing to this game 🤣🤣🤣.

      @@bthendrich they barely beat the patriots this game with literally all their top 4 weapons out. They barely beat the pats in the afc title game with home field, the pats having a decimated O’Line and Edelman coming off a broken foot. Yea the Pats were clearly the better team, they were 10-0 before the injuries piled up too much. They basically threw the one seed in the last game against Miami to protect Brady by having him only attempt 21 passes cause the offensive line was so decimated. With health they were better than the broncos.
