    Thank you very much for your time in providing these teachings. They will be very useful when I visit Morocco this year.
    Would you mind answering a question about the masculine/feminine nature of the language, as your last slide confused me a little. In your last slide, the man says 'Wash nti hbila' and hbila would be the term to call a woman crazy. Why does he not use nta? Then the women uses Nta for you (man), then hbil, the masculine for crazy. Why is it not Nti lli hbil and nta hbila?
    I am also curious about how widely Berber/Tamazight is spoken instead of Arabic. I see the Arabic shukran is widely used to say thank you, but I have also discovered there is a phrase 'tanmert, saha' which I think is also thank you. Is this widely used too?
    Shukran bezzaf

    • @LearnwithTayeb
      @LearnwithTayeb  6 лет назад

      hello, thanks for watching my videos. concerning masculine and feminine you should learn subject pronouns : ana : I nta : you masculine , nti : you feminine .... ( check my lesson on subject pronouns) for nouns : hbil : masculine , hbila : feminine : there is a rule that we just add an '' a'' in the end of a musciline word to get its femine. for example : ustad : a male teacher / ustada : female teacher.
      2) the majority of Moroccans are Amazigh , or at least , their origins are Amazigh. But when The Arabs came to Morocco the Amazigh people were obliged to speak Arabic, and now almost all Moroccans speak or/and understand ' Moroccan Arabic. but only Amazigh people speak and understand Tamazight. That's why when you speak Darija ( Moroccan Arabic you will be understood by 90 of people. but when you speak Tamazight only Amazigh people can understand.
      I hope i answered you questions. you can join our face book group if you have more question :.facebook.com/groups/464608470565991/
