Congratulations again khuiya. You are the best Moroccan Arabic teacher I have ever seen. My best wishes for you. You are doing an incredible Cultural work.
This is SOOOOOO helpful! Thank you. Shukran bzzaf khuya. I find learning Darija a challenge because of the speed in which people talk in real life. More please.

thank you for your feed back, sometimes, I try to keep the translation more literal to help learners understand : word to word, but I do appreciate your notes, regards

Great video. So tricky the way that the x+t sounds are used in this scene. From sister, to unavailable, to aunt. Sister is one of the hardest words for me to hear as it just disappears and seems like a past tense ending to the preceding word, and then you mix it up with a bunch of words that sound exactly the same. Also, what on earth is happening in this scene? Dude is sitting shoulder to shoulder with one woman who asks about the other woman, and he divulges that this girl is his friend's wife, and yet he is also married to her for six months, and Layla and he came to Morocco. What does that mean? Hhhh. Who is Layla, and what did she have to do with him being married to his friend's wife?

Masha Allah, very useful. As a side note, In English we say "Layla and I" not "I and Layla".

L van der Wens ik vind darija toch wel een beetje moeilijk , ik heb moeite met het zinsbouw . En wat is uw reden dat je darija leert 😁
