England is a magical place. It’s so fun to get to learn how to do business and navigate. I was yelling Zeb if we lived in England we could have the cutest shop and house. You guys have access to the most darling home decor. And everything is so quaint and picturesque. Thank you for your country. We’ll be back ❤
REally appreciate that you are naming the towns and the boot sales and such. Maybe i will get to go some day! You guys are so cute! God Bless you and this was so sweet!
Can’t wait to see the cottage renovation! How awesome to have stuff from England to use! It looks like so much fun to spend money at things like boot sales and charity shops! ❤❤❤
3/4 inch bath taps. You should be able to find copper 3/4 to 1/2 inch reducers to go down to 1/2 inch copper pipe, or even 3/4 inch to 10mm if you have push fit plastic pipe.
Hi you two, I’m British but live in France and also have a little thatch cottage in Kent which we use when visiting friends and family and I’ve so enjoyed seeing you in UK thrifting and getting used to our quirky eccentric ways 😊 I’m amazed at what you’ve managed to find and hope it all arrives in one piece 🤞😅
I live in Wales in the UK and I love visiting old church's and checking out charity shops. A lot of the copper pans and things my grandparents had on their farms it brought back some nice memories. X
This was an amazing experience! Ya'll seem to have the most fun together. I've enjoyed it so much, can't wait for the unboxing🎉. Sure hope the sink arrives unscathed, and the plumbing fits!
I remember my friends making fun of me because, at the Country Living Antiques Fair in Rhinebeck, NY one year I bought copper items. One had a Delft handle. I still have those items, and get many compliments of them. I’m so happy for you to purchase many things, and have fun as well.
Thank you so much for all the vlogs whilst you were In our beautiful country. I hope it lived up to all your expectations, Even though this is not your first trip. Safe trip home and hope that you will come back again next year .
I just watched all of your England videos. I love England. I was only there once and spent most of my time in London and in the countryside south of London and to the seaside around Brighton. I loved seeing the places you guys went and the shopping you powered through! Totally great filming and I love the music you put in! 👏👏👏👏👏🥰
It was nice going shopping with the both of you and I didn't spend any money and kept my hands in my pocket. Lol 😆 it was really beautiful out there and thank you for sharing your trip with us.❤❤❤
So much fun! I’ve got a galvanized laundry plunger like your copper one. Yours is way cooler! Love the Cornishware! About the fight with UPS...what about next time you just ship a container?
Thank you for taking us along on this buying journey. I especially enjoyed seeing all of the towns and countryside. My Great-Great Grandmother was from Birminghamshire so your scenic tours really meant a lot to me.
What an exciting 8/9 days this has been. Best shopping ever, the two of you have this down to an art!! You should give a 1 day workshop to retailers 😊. Thank you 🙏 ♥️ once again for sharing this week with us. Please let us know how the sink made it home.
This has been lovely to watch. Thanks for the videos and shopping in England. You 2 must be exhausted. Will we ever find out, how much you spent in England? I know it will be worth your while. So nice and happy to see how your business have grown over the years. You deserve it! You work very hard at it. Greeting from South Africa.
I was on the live chat then lost it 🥴not sure what happened! But what a fantastic video.. all the videos this trip have been wonderful!!❤ thanks Jami & Zeb for doing them! I can hardly wait to see all your treasures unboxed when you get home! This trip (shopping wise)sure seems successful.. so much copper yippee!! 🎉 Safe travels home❤
I can’t believe you’ve been to Armstrong Mills in Shepshed! I live in the next village and am a regular visitor to the antiques floor there. I worked there many years ago when it was Charterhouse , a hosiery factory.
I love antiquing in the UK! I've been eight times and it never gets old. I've been taking notes and have a few new places to visit! Thanks so much for sharing your fabulous trip❤❤
Have loved every video of your stay here, look forward to seeing it all when you are back home, hope your travels home was good, thanks for sharing - so impressed with you two and your energy 💖
These European Videos are the BOMB! Both of you are sooo down to earth on these and IDK but i think as a collection...you could literally market them...therefore atleast doubling your subscribers!!! The best ive ever seen!!!
I’ve loved watching this series of you in the UK you have bought some fabulous items this trip. Well done Zeb on your driving 😃. Safe travels home 🏠 ✈️. Jx 23:46
Loved this UK shopping trip series! You guys must be exhausted. Here's an idea to think about for a future thrift trip. If you drive straight north, you will arrive in the province of Alberta. The currency exchange is currently about $1.38 in your favor! Prices are very reasonable in Alberta. You would be just south of Calgary, the largest city in Alberta. Alberta is known as the Texas of Canada. When you have time, Google the area, late spring, and summer is beautiful and hot. You could rent a truck in Alberta and drive it back full! Think of how much less hassle. Many Canadians have britsh roots, lots of stuff from UK here too😊. Have a good rest. Cheers!
I know you guys are pooped. Y’all are going to have to take some days off to rest up from your vacation/work-cation! Thanks for sharing. I’m happy you got your sink boxed and at a drop station.
So glad you enjoyed your trip over here in England its been a pleasure watching you shop I’m so glad you got loads look forward to watch you unpacking and selling hope you had a good journey home 😊😊
Great video Jami!!!! This was my favorite one from the trip! Can’t wait to see everything on the Thrift Hauls! You were in my state on your way home……If you had been stuck here, I would have come to get you & bring you to my house!!!! ❤❤❤welcome home😊
Me again-dang that food looked Amazing at that last place. And they had a skinny, tall , white clock by the stone fireplace that was SO stinking cute! Zeb, you should make some of those!
Thanks for filming this so we can join along :) but I think you really need to take me the next time around !!! How much fun this looks like and you have found some amazing stuff !!!!
If you like neatly trimmed hedges and things u should come to Germany. And we love to get rid of every little speck of dirt on the streets as well. And yes this is a hidden invitation to come visit. We have some great flea markets and so on. Might be worth your while. Love your videos and can´t wait for more. They always make my day a lot brighter 🥰❤🌄
If I am in love with an item or 2…can we send pictures and tell you it’s already sold?? 😊 Example- the light colored purse in today’s video and the small round glass (crystal) with the metal piece on top to hold flowers. I have pictures!! Haha. I So wish I could tag along with you for a day doing this in England. If you go to Germany- I’m with you- I speak German. 😂 (PS- I live in Layton, so I can easy hurry down for those items. You two look like you’re having a blast! A tired blast, but still the same. Times you will love to look back on.
I have recently subscribed to your channel and am following your English trip. I cannot believe you ended up in Kimberley near Nottingham. That is the town we emigrated from to come and live on the west coast of Canada, near Vancouver, 30 years ago. I certainly wish I had brought over more antiques/vintage items in our shipping container. At least with car boot sales, all the sellers are in one area. Here, we have garage sales and a lot of travelling is involved! I do envy the size of the thrift stores you have in the US.
The thrift stores are bigger here but the beautiful antiques are so much better in England. We love making a trip every year. We also love all the people. It feels like home to us.
I miss the people. Have you been further north? People there are well known for being super friendly (and prices cheaper) unless you hit the super touristy places like York that is.
Just a quick bit of driving etiquette, everyone on motorways, according to the Highway Code should use the left hand lane, the two right hand lanes are for overtaking and then all vehicles should return to the left hand lane, unless there is rush hour traffic, and the left hand lane is for slower moving traffic and the middle lane can be used. The same goes for dual carriageways (2 lane roads). When driving on the motorway and other motorists are joining the motorway from the left, it is courtesy to move over to the middle lane to allow the vehicle to join the motorway smoothly, you can then move back to the left hand lane once the joining vehicle has safely joined the motorway. If you are in the middle or far right lane and other vehicles keep flashing their headlights or honking their horns, they are trying to tell you to move over to the left hand lane, never hog the middle or right hand lane unless traffic is heavy and slow moving.
@@JamiRayVintage it wasn’t a criticism Jami, just a reminder for anyone who may come to the U.K. and drive. Moving back to the left is something that many British drivers are not taught.
What is so impressive is zeb driving all over on the other side I would be so scared! Loved your whole trip I felt like I was traveling with you 😂.
And they’re not kidding about the country roads. They are narrow and winding and trees grow right up to the edge of the roads with no shoulders.
It's an incidental thing...but I LOVE the piano music you put with the driving sequences. So pretty!
This video had Everything! Flowers, food, locals, sunsets, church bells, a cemetery 🪦 AND a very exhausted couple 💞... And suspense... waiting & hoping ALL the boxes arrive safely in UTah eventually!!! EVERYTHING & the kitchen sink
Thank you, thank you, thank you for filming the country side. It's always been a dream of mine to see it ❤
I can’t wait to see if the sink makes it back intact. Your ventures gave me a lot of joy. Thanks. Safe travels, dear ones.
