i purchased a set of liner delete scales from applied weapons technology made from aluminum. wonderful scales. carried my manix 2 for almost a month and went back to the g10 with liners. got it back together. in hand it felt so good. its not just the loss of the weight, its that aggressive jimping that i was missing. conclusion, without the steel liners its not a manix 2. i did however make some changes. i installed the titanium ball cage from flytanium and the final addition to this manix 2 was installing the full length titanium back spacer. let me tell you the back spacer makes the whole knife look absolutely incredible. i dont know why more people are not doing this. thank you for the video and i hope to see your channel grow. good luck
There’s no denying that the G10 with liners is a win(!) The aftermarket is one of the fun avenues for someone to personalize a knife that’s found a home in their collection. But not all these ways are for everyone and I can totally appreciate that. I think more readily available backspacer options for the Manix would be huge! Thank you for your kind words also🙏
Really? (I don’t mean that sarcastically) It’s an opportunity to either personalize something or give a model a lighter weight option. Granted, not everyone cares about those things but it does have some pretty wide appeal I think.
Thank you for saying something, that’s an excellent point! Something I’ve done before but took for granted on this build. One slip and things could’ve looked differently.
I was going to ask if you’d be willing to sell your leftover G10 scales/liners/lanyard tube but I see you’re from Canada so shipping to the US is probably expensive
I’ve actually shipped fixed blades to the US several times and it’s easy and affordable actually. I appreciate the offer to take the cobalt blue g10 set up off my hands. I’ll be keeping them for now tho as I might be using them again for another build.

Big agree from me, I love the Manix jimping, it is part of its identity.
Nice Scales, Bro! :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)
Thx Stiletto🙏
Never gonna understand the appeal of original goat.

You should of put painters tape or other tape on blade so you don't get cut or damage the blade.
