We've recently had the privilege to open for Ratboys. They were so good, and really friendly!
With no exaggeration and only the fullest of sincerity, ratboys is one of the best live bands working today. Every set is 10/10. The sheer musicianship on every song, ugh, so good. Black Earth, WI’s outro is just bliss. And they sound awesome here on KEXP!

Their album last year was flawless. Julia's got such a great voice and "Black Earth, WI" is especially next-level--just a masterclass in keeping an instrumental break / guitar solo interesting.

Wow! I remember seeing Ratboys play a show with my friends, The Rutabega at a Notre Dame dorm room years ago!
They opened for Guster in Ft. Collins, CO in November 2022 and they were awesome. Was my first experience with them. Much success in the future!
