I know that the supports and the fencing are far enough away that you can't get hit but I just have to wonder what the guy in the green shirt hopes to accomplish by reaching out to touch them at 90 miles an hours
Disclaimer: The gentleman in front of me was completely locked in & was simply testing out how close the clearances were due to his tall height. It’s human in all of us to test our limits and he was completely safe in doing so.🥃
@@EastCoasters B&M also designs their coasters with a significant clearance envelope between their trains and the support structures. As a 6'2 coaster junkie myself, I should know. 😄
Orion is underrated. I’ve watched bloggers bash this ride on YT, so I wasn’t pressed about riding it. I finally rode it …about 6 times - this ride is awesome. The first drop is just like Fury. It’s smooth and the airtime is crazy. It’s a nice coaster, underrated for sure. I’m normally a rear seat rider but this is definitely a front row ride. Great coaster overall.
Underrated doesn't even begin to describe it, a lot of Kings Island "fans" are extremely disappointed with it, and some even wish it wasn't even built. WILD. Not me, I love Orion. 😎
This totally exceeded my expectations. Only ended up getting a handful of front row rides last year (which I'm not complaining about) but I am very curious as to how it compares to the back. Great content as always! Ride on brotha 🤙🍺
when will we ever get a B&M giga with tons of loops? that 2nd hill wave turn being turned into a massive zero g roll could be one of the most insane airtime moments
So far nothing taller than 200 feet except rare cases like rmc, dive coasters, and Mack has inversions. My guess is that massive coasters cost a lot, and if you add inversions you need more restrictive restraints and a bigger height limit. This Lowers the people who can ride and makes it take longer to get your money back
@@EastCoasters anyways, the side view from the back row is awesome i like it alot, and the green tshirt guy having a great time like a pro, thumbs up :)
Shouldn’t have pushed the lap bar down that extra notch. you get crazy airtime if you keep it the way they put it down on you. Great experience I’m telling you😌
dude in front of you, thats how I used to ride raging bull lol. Alright, If I had a chance to redesign this ride, there would be 2 consecutive speed hills , the large camelback would become an outerbanking shambala helix, and the pop into the brakes would drop all the way to the ground, to then be followed by the final helix, so that the turn into that final pop becomes the beginning of a double down.
@@starryagent9936 I just went to carowinds and driving up to fury from my hotel it doesn’t look any taller than Orion when you get up to it at the front gate it does look more intimidator but the drop and speed is almost identical Fury’s drop only felt bigger in the front row but in any other row they felt there same and the speed is identical fury is only better because it’s longer but as far as height in speed it’s barley noticeable
Orion is underrated as hell, anyone who bitched about this is a spoiled enthusiast. This thing is not only a great ride but a "people eater" and it's B&M so it's reliable as hell. It's no Fury 325 but it doesn't have to be to still be loved

got 4 rides on Orion a couple weekends ago, rows 6, 7, 8, and 4 (rows 8 and 4 were night rides) and honestly my only complaint is i wish Orion kept going lmao, the speed hill is absolutely insane in the back, the Orions Belt helix pulls really good forces, and those last pops of airtime even at 11am launched me into that clamshell restraint, amazing ride with a well deserved spot in my top 10 in my opinion

I also do it its a cool sensation its not really trying to accomplish anything and it makes the ride experience way better overall.
Pain.

Surely it was an approved recording, right?

It’s a misdemeanor but not prosecutable unless caught in the act. Cops have better things to respond to.

Sad that coaster designers have to take into account the IQ of the riders, and make the ride basically idiot proof.
what if u pass out on the ride and ur arms are limp and get chopped of by a fence because the coaster designers know how smart the riders are
