I hear ya. When I first went to The Container Store many years ago that's exactly how I felt. Now because most of my visits are business-related, I just go in get what I need, and go. They do have more affordable items. Maybe I'll do a video on that next.
Great video! Don't sleep on Marshalls, TJMaxx, and Home Goods for the discounted iDesign fridge containers. They're way cheaper than the Container store. I'll save my POP! Perks for something special.

@@juditheorganizer I don’t mind at all. I have a strong family history of mental health issues and generational emotional abuse. Of course I didn’t really understand that until I was in my 30s. I’m not sure if I thought I was lazy, too busy/stressed, didn’t care, a messy person, disorganized, but it was definitely this hidden shame thing. My sister was the same ways we were also military kids, and our parents are packrats, so it always felt like our “stuff” was our home. But this last year I’ve been learning more about trauma through seeking to understand and be an ally to the Black community. I’ve also been seeing how much trauma from having a medically complex toddler (who almost died several times as a baby) can put my body into fight or flight mode just from something small like hearing him cough or hearing a beep. I just purchased two Battery Daddy containers from Bed Bath & Beyond, for my sister and myself. They were $19.99/each, but I had a coupon for $10 off of a $30 purchase, which made them $15 each. It is a carrying case, has battery compartments for each type of battery, comes with an battery tester, stores batteries on the front and back, and holds a total of 180 batteries. It is a great deal!
I don’t like under the bed storage bc I used to HOARD items under there when I was younger 😂 but that’s not a problem anymore bc my bed is so low that there’s no room for storage...there’s only room for dust lol
I agree, but for me I am such an “out of sight out of mind” person that I feel like if I use under the bed storage I will just never get into anything under there ever again

FYI, for future reference, in the future, when you get a burn, immediately put mustard on it, then, really cold water & this is a home remedy that will take the burn out & it'll heal quicker.· I got a 3eggs holders for $1.00each at The Dollar Tree.
The first basket cubes are $3 at Ross/Marshalls. I have black ones and they are durable af my 9 month old throws them all around. 🙃 I have all different sizes. The large size is $6
I used to always go to Ross/Marshall’s to get organizing products but because they usually only have 1-2 of the same products, I would always have to visit 3-4 stores if I needed a higher quantity. With that said, I’m definitely willing to try again because $3-$6 is a STEAL! Thank you, Love!
I have a suggestion for a coffee maker. I bought a Mainstays coffee maker that rivals the Keurig (which I love) for $20. I thought that it would not last, and I got it at Walmart... 3 years ago. My Keurig one cup went out on me, so my niece in love told me after having it for one year. But the point of it, I can brew regular ground coffee and K-cups in this thing, and it has not died on me yet. I still want my Keurig machine, but like you said, they are expensive. so, when this one dies, I am getting myself another Mainstays Coffee Maker.
I have this long-term project to declutter my room. So I am spending time researching what is my taste. What functions nicely? What's practical? What's aesthetically pleasing? What's sending good vibes? So far I have come to the conclusion we need to bargain and settled for a balance and planning.
LOL 😂 You are right!!! A lot of us have a lot of shoes. Between boots, shoes, house shoes.... I have about 40. & yes. THAT # IS AFTER decluttering & getting rid of A LOT of footwear. & no. It’s not going down anymore. 🤣🤣 I might have a shoe problem. But in my defense, I wear a lot of sandals. It’s usually hot or at least warm in Oklahoma. Almost year round. So unless there is snow or ice on the ground, I’m usually in sandals! I actually ordered a zip up (keep the dust out) or keep open “shelving shoe unit” from Amazon. All footwear with the exception of my boots fit in there. The boots went into a “build your own” cube? Type storage thing (yep, Amazon) that fits up on my skinny closet shelf WAY up high. Because summer is pretty much here. There is a drawer shelving unit on wheels ~ Container store & Amazon were super expensive ~ So I went to Target & found one that was even better but the same thing pretty much... for almost 1/2 of the other 2 stores! Love your channel & your energy!!! Definitely will be binge watching you!!! Have a blessed week! OH, Also, if you put lavender oil on your burn (once it has completely healed up), it will make the scarring go away. Yes. Seriously. Mine went away about 2 years after I started putting it on actually, just noticed one day it was completely gone after my mom insisted on putting some on my arm. She started putting some one each time she visited me. About 3 years after I got the burn, I finally let her put it on me. Wish I’d let her put it on me way sooner!
It makes me SO sad that it takes half a day to go to the nearest IKEA store in south western Ontario. They closed near me and it used to be THE place like a adult Disney World trip for me. The only place I could take my kids and disabled people comfortably together with happiness for all. :(
I moved to a house that had a pantry infested with moths, I had those Ikea containers and they are NOT airtight.. I had to buy the OXO, got them at Costco for a great price. It took 6 mos to get rid of those moths. But Ikea does have the foldable Kallax Baskets for $12-$14 ea I don't think they are "water hyacinth" but they are some type of grass or woven reed. BTW, love your hair.
I was going to point out that the dupe oxo containers are not air tight. That is a very important bit of information that should have been included. But, what can you really expect for that price.
I have the glass IKEA jars with the less attractive plastic lids that snap into place. They seal perfectly. If I don’t want to look at them, I can shut the pantry door.
Not to be shallow but I am in love with your hair. I'm feeling inspired for the summer...And did I mention you are beautiful? Cuz you are. New subscriber.

@@juditheorganizer I have already begun stalking your Amazon storefront, and am up to my chin on The Container Store website! Thank you with all my heart!!
Love your videos. It gives me inspiration to organize my home. I found similar items for the battery storage at the At Home store. I also see alot of the other items at Family Dollar, Tj Maxx, Ross, and Dollar General.
i think i have that top. i purchased a few yrs ago (have shoes to match perfectly) on a trip to nyc (HM)... left it in the cab/uber. Came home to CT and purchased again. I never wore it 😩😩😩 One Day!!! Great Vid, hair, skin. arms, shoulders...girl!!! you’re looking fabulous!!!!!
You’re amazing!! A couple of other locations I’ve found an array of organizing containers is Ross Dress for Less. Crazy, huh?! I found an egg holder that fits 24 eggs for $5.99. Its very hit and miss, but fun to save some $$! The battery storage you mentioned I’ve found one for $3.99. It’s worth checking out options for storage in their art section. Check it out if you have a Ross near you!
You're so kind and thank you for sharing. My only thing about Ross is it's always a luck of the draw with them. I've gone there in the past and couldn't find the total number of items I needed for a project and had to go to over 5 locations. After that happened, I stopped going there. Maybe I'll reconsider.
This video has saved me. I don't have a lot of storage space and struggled with this and finding more affordable options. Thank you so much! #newsubscriber
Thank you for these tips. I still have the IKEA drawer organizers I bought in 2000 I think. Maybe late ‘90’s. At the time I bought them I was definitely on a budget and they’ve served me well over the years in 4 homes. Love them! Thanks for sharing. I’m taking note of lots of the dupes you shared. Stay well. Blessings...
I have the Skubb shoe boxes from IKEA in gray. Love them! My closet is small so I have them stacked at the top. I have them stacked 5 high. You just have to make sure you put the heaviest shoes on the bottom so they don’t topple over. The shoes boxes are spacious. Depending on the shoe you can fit two pair in one box. I purchased 4 sets.
I just picked up the under bed storage bins at the Ikea in Atlanta. There were different color options, with the lighter blue being marked down a few more dollars.
Great tips & suggestions. I'm planning an Ikea trip soon to get some of your recommendations, especially those lovely purse holders. Thanks a bunch for sharing!
I have NEVER been to the Container Store....I know...I know!!! Thanks for this video. Question: I am a sneaker head...how would you suggest for me to house my sneakers? They stay in the box, under my bed...and I have to sometimes....nahhhh...alot of the times have to pull so many boxes out when I am look for a certain pair. Thanks so much for your videos!!!!
I love those hyacinth or whatever they are called too. Never knew that's what they were called so thanks for teaching me something sis! However, I get mine from thrift stores and have NEVER paid full price for them. The walmart price is even too expensive in my opinion. I would never pay more $5 or so for a woven basket.
SIS! Come thru with the bomb twist out that made me subscribe 2 years ago to your channel! (in reference to your original thumbnail/banner...gosh, i hope that doesn't sound to stalker-esque - lol!) It was so inspiring to me when I had hair! Then I cut it all off! Ha! Stunt for the both of us! :D Anywho! I definitely bought my bf the front drop shoe bins from the container store store last year. AND HE BROKE HALF OF EM! Rude! Smh! I recently come to terms with the fact that the simpler the organization system, THE BETTER! Oh! and the those Ikea purse organizers... #shook ...those are really cute! Thanks for another banger love!
Hey Love! You're so sweet and sooo funny hahahaha! Hair or no hair, you look amazing (I can see you in your YT icon picture). No he didn't break it - grrrrrrrh. Just stumbled onto your channel, hit subscribe immediately. You're a hoot! Lots of great ideas. I'm decluttering and reorganizing my bedroom. The shoe rack is my next purchase. I love the food storage containers at Walmart. The BH&G is a dupe for the OXO. Had them for years and they have all sizes.
Will be checking out that brand for sure. Thank you for your kind words💕. Now that it’s been some time, how did decluttering and reorganizing your bedroom go?
I love watch your videos, you have great ideas. Was wondering if you can do some storage for laundry items? Mainly getting things out of the packages. Thanks!!! 😊
Thank you for watching my videos! My goal is to makeover my laundry room later in the year and I sure will create a designated video about the laundry room. Coming soon.
What an absolute delight you are. (So sorry about your arm!) This is my first time watching a video of yours but I feel I'll binge-watching soon. I love to organize, but I am crazy cheap so it would give me hives to even buy some of those lower priced options. I see, though, you have a Dollar Tree video. That's more my speed! :)
Thank you, Suzanne!!! Thankfully my arm is almost fully healed now! Welcome to my channel and I hope you enjoy it. Being cheap is not at all a bad thing and there are so many products that fit within your budget and the Dollar Tree is a great place to find them. Btw, you're funny!

Aren't they great!
I just picked up the under bed storage bins at the Ikea in Atlanta. There were different color options, with the lighter blue being marked down a few more dollars.
Nice find!
The hair!!! The hair!!! The hairrr!!!❤
Thank you, Love!!!! I give all the thanks to my friend/hair stylist.

The wire baskets you said are Better Homes and Gardens from Walmart. Your visual comparison shot lists IKEA.
Thanks for pointing that out!!! The link in the description box should be the correct store.

I love the part about the bandaid. Squash the negativity from the beginning. 😊
Yup! I didn’t want any comments addressing it. 🤷🏾♀️
Great tips & suggestions. I'm planning an Ikea trip soon to get some of your recommendations, especially those lovely purse holders. Thanks a bunch for sharing!
That sounds fun! You’re so welcome!
Loved all the organization options! I always shop the sales at TCS and it’s still ‘spensive! Thanks for making this video!
You’re so welcome! Yea there products can be high but they do have some that are low priced and high in quality.

Thank you from Tallahassee, Florida. My wife loves me using your video! LOL!
Yassssss, that’s awesome!
Your hair is gorgeous and I love you for this video. Thank you!!! That’s all!
Well thank you, Love!
Thank you to RUclips for recommending your video! I loved this video and am looking forward to watching more ❤️❤️❤️
Yayyyy! RUclips recommendations are gold. Thanks for stopping by!
Thank you for this video
Love the dupes and that you show the expensive vs the value one, keep em comin:)

I think I paid the same amount for the egg organizer at bed bath and beyond. But of course I have the membership for 20% off every purchase
Yes , you hair is giving me LIFE!
Thank you, Love!
Oh you're welcome. You are beautiful always. But you look exceptionally beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
Anywho!
Well, not you know not to buy him those anymore lol. I am shooketh as well about those purse organizers. Thank you so much for your support, Love!!!
@@juditheorganizer You’re too kind doll! And yes, lesson learned 🙄🤦🏽♀️smh! Lol! Thanks love!
:) Nice! I bought the Container store shoe container for my Sister and then saw the Ikea shoe storage and bought it for me :)
IKEA wins all the time.

You’re so welcome! Yea it’s def a re-watch take notes kind of vid. Thank you. It’s actually a braid out.
@@juditheorganizer pretty well. But it's still in progress. Shoes & jewelry still a little Ricky
