NASCAR Rumble released by EA in the year 2000.
The game is very much an arcade racer, a massive departure from the usual NASCAR Simulation game series. The game Features NASCARs but also karting style power ups and a variety of racing surfaces and environments. All tracks are fictional and no actual race tracks are represented in the game.
The game starts off quite promising and fun with all the cars bashing each other about crashing and general mayhem from the powers ups. This goes on for 18 races consisting of 4 laps over 6 locals. This can take a while to get through. The game is not yet complete though, oh no. You have to do the entire championship again on pro and again on elite. It doesn't take long for the game to feel like its outstaying its welcome. I play through Rookie and Pro in Cyberteam mode where I can choose a teammate to race with and we can combine our points at the end of each race. I could tell during pro that the game was putting my team mate with a distinct disadvantage, sometimes leaving him right at the back of the pack the whole race. I couldn't chance this with Elite championship so switched to Single racer mode so that I was in full control of my score.
During the Rookie championship I unlock some bonus cars, but they can not be all unlocked yet (Which I didn't know when I was looking for them). It's only in pro mode they all become available so I am able to show the misses bonus cars in this run. By the time I start Elite, I have all the bonus cars. During all 3 championships I pretty much use the bonus cars exclusively coz ...why not. All the NASCAR are pretty much the same apart from branding but the bonus cars all handle very differently.
After clearing Elite Championship I finally unlock the Ending FMV for what it was worth....
I then play the EA Championship to unlock the EA NASCAR. You can race the EA championship in Rookie and Pro, but it only unlocks the car for that difficulty so I didn't bother with those. I then play the Elite Random Championship which unlocks the ability to race with the final Legend NASCAR driver. The other Legends were unlocked by winning the races. At this point I could replay the championship in Legend mode where if I win I will unlock the respective Legend car. I did not bother with this as there is no more FMV to unlock at its another 2 hours of same old racing ... Instead I show off the 3 remaining bonus tracks. The last track I set to Mayhem to show why it would be a bad idea to play championship like that ;)
The game does feature replays after races but are not all that memorable so I don't show these more than a few times and even then only for one lap. There is no internal view, only bumper cam so I pretty much stay in one of the various chase views throughout the game.
    Part 2:
00:00:00 Elite Championship Followed by Ending FMV (Standard)
    01:49:50 Elite EA Championship (Standard)
02:25:30 Elite Random Race Championship (Standard)
02:43:10 3 Bonus Races followed by promo video and credits. -
