As many know, Jack is probably in the top 5 most skilled guitarists living on this great earth. The guy can do and play anything. But Jack HAS the feel, soul and expressiveness that only a handful have ever mastered (Duane, J McLaughlin, Django, hendrix,,take your pick- but very few)
He is an amazing, stellar player!!
Indeed, alongside Tommy Emmanuel was the first time I saw just how much of a receptive & diverse mastery & command over the instrument that Jack has. Now one of my personal guitar heroes.
Crazy thing is that he has «the feel» in all of the genres of the artists you mentioned
The thing that jumps out about Jack is his light touch and smoothness. There is a real economy of movement with him that is amazing. Fits his laid back personality.
Jack is probably the best ever
It's like you hear Wes Montgomery, Albert Lee3, Roy Buchanan and other players Jack weaves them all into a sound that is all Jack. Just an amazing talent and a player that truly loves to play, and I bet if he is away from his guitar for any extended period of time like a day or so.. he gets itching to play. Like said here, he plays from the heart.
Just discovered Jack, can't stop looking up his stuff!
Jack is awesome.
Might be the best guitar of my generation. I'm a baby boomer. So that says a lot.
I'd like to look through those albums and tapes in the back....I see a reel-to-reel in there too...
Jack is a cool dude. I've had the pleasure of meeting him on a number of occasions. He's always been cool as a cucumber.
Damn the south breeds some killer guitar players !! must be the heat.
The acoustic slide clip is called Everyday. One of his best for me...
A top notch player & singer. Never saw him with the ABB, too bad.
Jack's the man!
You're the only one I've ever heard say anything about harmonica riffs with a slide I used to play harmonica and jam with this slide player in Memphis back in the seventies and we used to do that that's awesome Jack Rock on
Such beautiful Instruments!!
Mr. Pearson is one of the most talented ever!
Thanks for sharing!
definitely hear some Joe pass in his playing. love it.
Mr. Pearson kommt sehr chillig rüber. Sehr angenehm. Toller Musiker!
Jack is simply the best.
Saw Jack with the Allman Brothers when Dickie was in New York dealing with "family matters." JP can hang with the best of them!
