Paypal now offers a Payment Plan that allows its customers to Pay in 4 installments. PayPal Pay in 4 allows you to shop and pay over time You first pay 25% of the total purchase today, then pay the balance off every 2 weeks for 6 weeks. There is 0% interest, and a soft credit check is required that wont affect your Fico score.

It's an extremely good service. I've used it 5 times in a period of 2 months. I usually pay off the complete loan after the second payment due. I've had multiple pay in 4 loans active at a time. But, try to keep only 2 loans active at a time so I won't have to over stretch myself. It might be best to have a good history with paypal especially if your credit isn't stellar. Just be on top of your payment because they do change a late fee.

I made a purchase with the pay in 4 once and it worked perfectly, but the next time I tried, it was on a pre-order item, on my pay pal account it says "Authorization is pending" but on my bank statement they charged me the 1/4 of the payment but the item doesn't show that I bought it anything on that website when I log in. Do you think it's cause it's on a pre-order item?
Do they send the package you brought still if you pay in 4 , or you have to wait until you pay off the whole payment?
Usually ship after you make the first payment. I received my item and i have 3 payments left. This allows you to get the items and just pay it off over 6 weeks. I mainly buy items I need which makes this worth using.

usually debit card on file. Try to get the PayPal cash card and add it as your primary payment method. Its a debit card that allows you to access your PayPal balance much easier.
What would happen if I buy something from Walmart with this but wanted to return the item?
That’s a good question.. I’ll look into it. I know with Klarna I tried to buy an NBA jersey but they refunded klarna and klarna send the money back to my debit card. I was currently on Walmart website looking for stuff when you commented.
Can you cancel a pay in 4, while it's still "authorization is pending" and the item is not yet sent from the seller?
It’s possible, each company is different. Contact PayPal or the seller, Or go to your PayPal account and see if you can cancel the item. I haven’t had to cancel yet so I’m not certain.
I did the paymet it is says pending but they still charged me, does it do that?. and the order on the website did not go through.
The should only charge you 1/4 of the price now, I think somebody else had a situation like that. Usually once PayPal pays the company they email you a confirmation of purchase. Every company is different and for the pay in 4 you can check on PayPal website to see a payment schedule.
Your clients have to sign up for PayPal to use the Pay in 4. I don't want to force them to do that. I wish that wasn't the case.
I love PayPal and there’s nothing wrong with signing up with PayPal.. it’s free.. plus there is no fee to use pay in 4. Once you pay the item off you don’t have to use it again.
I have a new account it won’t let me use pay 4 why? And also I’m trying to book a flight and pay in installments I can cashapp the money to anyone willing to help me pay in installments.
There are other payment options with pay in 4.
I use QuadPay,PayPal, Klarna, or Afterpay. Patience my queen 🙏🏽 try QuadPay. Also remember not ever company accepts pay in4 but most are now accepting because it increases their Roi and revenue.
did you have a downpayment that did not take away from what you need to pay? like it was a separate charge that right now looks like it will be an extra payment shows up on my transaction history but on on the pay in 4 history
On the PayPal app you should see how much you paid, the remaining balance and a payment schedule. You pay 25% first

@@PrinceTheKingNO my total is 121 first down payment was 30 which is a payment the went through but does show up on my pay in 4, so I paid once in the pay in 4 to see and it showed up as my first payment for the pay in 4 so the downpaymwnt just seemed like a charge ontop of the 121 since rn I owe 90 but I have paid 30 twice one in the downpayment and one like yesterday but should it be like 60 then not 90 that is what is confusing me 😔
I used this pay in 4 and did not receive any confirmation for my item like order number but they already charged me for it.
They usually charge you 1/4 of the price instantly and after the company you purchase from receives the money from PayPal they should email you a confirmation email.

No I’ve used it twice and it works. You can also check your payment dates on PayPal.com to see your pay in 4 schedule.

I purchased a glove from Wilson using PayPal 4 payment plan , i returned the glove the same day , Wilson issued me a refund but PayPal still charging me the 4 payments and no refund shows in my my PayPal account. So I am out a glove and my money. It’s been almost 30 days and no refund . Does Anyone have the same issue ?

Idk for sure but around that time I was experiencing some issues but myself I have used it 5 times since with no problems. I feel like everyone may have different issues and outcomes with most pay in 4 items across brands and pay in 4 companies. I couldn’t use PayPal for a while but recently I’ve been using them heavily. There was a point I was like idk about PayPal n I love PayPal so it hurt, but it seems to depend also on the merchant as well. I try to find a good merchant and keep using them for what I need for business. Pay in 4 still works if anybody wondering.

If your using pay in 4 you usually just make the first payment and then 3 biweekly payments over 6 weeks. Check your PayPal account to see if the transaction went through. Pay in 4 is still new on PayPal, I usually just wait a day or so for them to update the info. I made my 2nd payment today on an item I purchased 2 weeks ago. Download the PayPal app so you can see your transactions, or PayPal.com on computer.

They perform a soft credit check when applying which won’t affect your credit score. Payments aren’t reported to the credit bureaus. Missed payments might be a different.
I had a down-payment that didn't go towards the actual payment and I do they just keep that money or is it going to get refunded
The down payment should have went to paying the first installment. As your going through the process you should have seen a payment schedule, including the first down payment. You pay the first payment today then the rest biweekly. That should then be 3 payments every 2 weeks for 6 weeks. You can also see on PayPal website how much you have remaining to pay. Contact PayPal if the problem continues.

Go to PayPal and click on the Pay in 4 section, then look for download agreement. Every payment should be scheduled automatically. They will take the money on specific dates that’s how it works. Check the agreement and dates to verify everything.
That's what they not gonna tell you. I bout a TV and the payment was 117. They took that out twice and I'm like wtf!!. And customer service is shit. I'm still waiting for a email for them to help me.

I’m not sure but you can test it out by adding an item to your cart on a site that accepts PayPal. When they send you to PayPal check to see if they offer the Pay in 4 option.

I used pay in 4 and I see in my activity that Paypal charged my credit card the full purchase amount and the first payment. I’ve been trying to get in touch with paypal but maybe you know what’s going on?
I think when using credit for payments they place a hold on the card. They will release it and you should only be charged for the first payment, and then 3 biweekly payments over 6 weeks. This is still a relatively new service with PayPal and hopefully it gets smoother over time. I haven’t had any problems with my first 2 orders.

It doesn’t work for every PayPal purchase, and only for its over $30-$600

Its paypal pay in 4 its simply a payment option. Contact the place your making a purchase from to resolve an issue.
Are you sure? I’ve been using PayPal for years and have also spoken to customer service reps via phone who helped me immediately with any issue
