to me Juhani was best character in Kotor 1. I love hearing her voice and listening to her backstory. I love everything about her. She is amazing and is the first gay character in SW. she was badass she overcome her anger overcome her past and fight for justice. i love her to bits. Thanks for posting this video I love hearing this dialogue once again.
The way the jedi treated Juhani just shows who the REAL villains are in the story. Made her think she killed her master, let her stew in her negative emotions instead of just TALKING to her, and then sent Revan to basically kill her / make her into an example of the dark side corruption! All after bullying and treating her like a 2nd class citizen for years.
the jedi might be the protectors of the republic but by no means are they good people they knew from the beginning that it was an accident and let her wallow in darkness, at the same time sending Revan, whom had been THE DARK LORD OF THE SITH to murder her
I don't recall them bullying or treating her like a second-class citizen, but I do agree that their treatment of Juhani was over the line. The Sith at least admit their evilness and cruelty, unlike the Jedi who hide behind concepts like "the greater good" and "the will of the Force." I don't blame Jolee for leaving.
@@thedude3065 The Jedi have good qualities, yes, but they're overzealous hypocrites who use very twisted ways in their teaching. Jolee is right about that. It was certainly not the best idea to send a former Dark Lord to try to help her.
Whe I first played this game I wanted to go Dark Side. I was actually surprised that they used Juhani during the path choice. For her I decided to change my mind and do a light side ending first.
Sorry for the late reply. I have played this game and complete both light /dark side storylines. Yes the first playthrough you can REDEEM Junhani from the darkside but you have to be careful of the dialog choices. This can be said by all the times you have to conivice a character that the path they are on is a bad path or making bad choice/s. Saving them or killing them rewards you the play good or dark side points that turns the character good or bad. In this case Juhani - if you want to redeem her take this path ->listen to her story why turn dark side/why she is in that grove /ruins -> The dark side is never powerful-> The council has sent me....-> (from here onwards remind her of the jedi code) I hold not anger towards you Junhani I wish you peace -> The first step towards knowledge is ignorance .. -> The force will let her (her master) to live onwards -> The council will let you back when you show them your free from anger (passion)... - > your inner peace and hamorney will show them your serlinity ..... - > after this she talks to council and will join you later and become party member to join you on the different worlds you travel. However if you pick certain dialogs it will lock you out of the light path - this leaves one choice that you must kill her. Sadly you don't have a choice. she doesn't stop attacking you until you kill her. To me she was always my fav of the party members so once I learn the way to way to save her I made sure to memorise it so I could save her every time unless I wanted to play the dark side jedi from the start. Just pick the hopefully dialog lines and you will save her for sure. if you chose the rush lines or that lines like "the council will surly take you back" it doesn't give her hope and she will attack you again.
